What To Expect
Ranua Zoo
Located one hour away from Rovaniemi, the Ranua Wildlife Park is the northernmost wildlife park in the world. It consists of approximately 50 wild animal species and 200 individuals. In the park, it is possible to see polar bears, brown bears, wild reindeer, wolves, wolverines, lynxes, predatory birds, otters, wild boars, and many others. The park is Lapland’s leading tourist attraction for families, groups with children and animal-lovers all year round. The park is also part of different European programs for the protection of endangered species. This trip departs from Rovaniemi where your guide will pick you up at your hotel. They will then drive you to Ranua wildlife park, and will accompany you along the 2.5km gentle walk that takes you from one animal habitat to another. Information about each animal will be provided by your guide and the different information boards. After the visit of the park, you will enjoy a tasty buffet lunch in the restaurant and drive back to Rovaniemi.

5.00Absolutely incredible sled dog ride! We LOVED it!! Dogs are well treated and love to run it was impressive. Special mention for our guide Tristan who was solar, interesting and interested. The road passed extremely fast because we talked throughout and it was very rewarding. A very beautiful person!

5.00I went to the Zoo with Aude. She is amazing, she makes you feel comfortable although I was the only english speaking person in the group. The thing is, I forgot my wallet at the Zoo's restaurant, and it had all my documents and cards in it. My flight was in 2 days. The company was kind enough to go fetch it on their next tour which was on the same day as my flight. Everything worked out in the end. Lovely people, I apologize again for the stress and issues I caused. And thank you very much for getting my wallet back and helping me catch my flight back in time. You really went out of your way for me, God bless you! Recommend them 100%! Really good company!
