We had a great walking tour with Rob. It was paced and pitched perfectly. We were all huge fans of the Dad Jokes! The tour was balanced nicely between history and HP and catered for both superfans and those who still have lots to discover (Rob was careful with spoilers). Highly recommended, great way to see Edinburgh.

Rob was an excellent, thoughtful and considered host and tour guide. We followed him like ducklings all around the city, learning loads and listening to his stories and he ensured we crossed the road safely every time! I’m from Edinburgh and very much enjoyed the privilege of being a tourist in one’s own city learning new and interesting things from Rob about my home town and Harry Potter, whilst keeping both the kids and I engaged throughout. The 2 hours flew by as if on a broomstick! Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Rob was absolutely amazing! He was so lovely and friendly! His “dad” jokes were so funny. He had some really interesting facts about Edinburgh that I never would have known if it wasn’t for him. Honestly hands down the best tour I’ve been on! He looked after our group really well.

For Our Wizard of Edinburgh Thank you for leading us through the rain, where cobbles gleam and stories play, for turning facts to flickers of magic on our Harry Potter tour today. At Greyfriars, where old names dream, you winked and let the legends grow, then down Victoria Street you swept us, where even Muggles almost know. With spells disguised as history and jokes tucked neatly in your sleeve, you made a city breathe in magic— and made us happily believe. So here’s our thanks, no wand required, just smiles, applause, and cheer: Edinburgh felt enchanted today because you were our guide here. Thank you so much Rob!

Robert was BEYOND AMAZING! This tour happened to be a private tour which made it even better 😂 Robert was very informative, personable and very passionate. He also gave me some awesome local recommendations for food, drinks and activities and being from the US and first time in Edinburgh… it was beyond helpful and his website has some awesome recommendations! Thank you again Rob… I appreciate YOU and next time I’m back in Edinburgh, I will book one of your tours again 🙏🏼

We had an amazing time on our tour with Rob. Despite us being 10 mins late, he tailored the experience to our interests which made the tour that much more enjoyable. Despite us not knowing a lot about the history of Edinburgh, Rob did an incredible job of engaging us not only through showing us the sites but sharing with us unique stories about Edinburgh’s history. We loved it. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh!
