Dreamed of visiting Whitehaven Beach, or the gorgeous Heart Reef? Then look no further! This two & a half hour helicopter tour takes you to Whitehaven Beach, where you'll enjoy a one & a half hour stay, complete with nibblies and ice cold beverages.

First we head out to the beautiful Whitsunday Island, where we'll land on the world famous Whitehaven Beach for a one and a half hour stop**. Enjoy a drink & a bite to eat before some free time to explore the beach.

We then take off past the beautiful Hill Inlet, heading for the world famous Great Barrier Reef. Where we visit some the renowned Heart Reef.

As we head back home, we'll fly past Hayman Island, Hook Island and finish up with some more views of the Molle Island Group, with Whitsunday Island and Long Island in the distance.

What To Expect

Shute Harbour

As we fly past Mount Rooper and over Shute Harbour, the gateway to The Whitsundays, you'll be likely to see a ferry or two on their way out to the islands. Additionally, you'll see some of the smaller reefs and islands that surround the coast.

The first of the big Islands we pass by will be South Molle Island. Looking a bit further to the south and you'll also spot Long Island.

Just Wow 😍 absolutely stunning. This is definitely the best trip to see the Great Barrier Reef and Whitsundays islands including stopping on the famous Whitehaven Beach 🏖️ to chill out and have some down time. 10/10 experience. Couldn’t recommend more, great tour guide one memory I will never forget.

From the moment Justin collected us from our resort we were well taken care of, Justin was polite, professional and very knowledgeable about his helicopter and the area we were flying around. The weather on the day was glorious and the sights were amazing, it really was a very special day for all 3 of us.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Highly recommend this best of both worlds tour. You get the breathtaking GBR an absolute must see if travelling to the Whitsundays!! AND the incredible Whitehaven beach and Hill Inlet. It really did tick all the boxes. Justin is a talented pilot, who has been flying for years! He is extremely knowledgeable of the area. It was my sisters first time in a helicopter, she was nervous at the new experience, but felt extremely safe and comfortable with Justin on the sticks! A massive thank you from us!! We will definitely be back 😊

We had the ultimate morning today. Surprised my partner for his first helicopter ride. The views, beach at Whitehaven was amazing. Justin the pilot was fantastic who explained the history and specifics around the Whitsundays. Highly recommend doing this to anyone. The helicopter was so well looked after with really comfortable seats. Thanks again Justin was superb.

This was the most amazing experience that we will remember forever. We were picked up on time from our accommodation and Justin was the perfect host, guide and pilot. Helicopter was very clean and comfortable. We experienced quality time on beautiful Whitehaven beach and flew over the most amazing views of the Islands and reef. Niels was a brilliant pilot. We were visiting in rainy season so Niels was flexible during the day to make sure we found a safe window to fly whilst still having an amazing flight experience over the reef. Would definitely recommend Niels and this company Brilliant experience

We had an amazing trip this week to see the Great Barrier Reef and land on stunning Whitehaven Beach. The personal helicopter ride was fantastic and our pilot Justin was just great. Spectacular flight out to the reef and then 90 mins to relax on the beach with a picnic and a couple of drinks. This has been the best experience of our trip so far and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Airlie Beach.
