In our tour we will show you the famous castle in Heidelberg, which has a historical history. The whole structure, the castle and the courtyard are impressive with their ruins and their construction. The castle is several centuries old and offers a wonderful view of the city from its huge terrace. Here you can see one of the largest wine barrels in the world.
After the castle visit we will give you some private time and you can walk through the medieval center and visit the Renaissance Haus zum Ritter and the Heiliggeistkirche.

After about 1 hour drive there we will visit Heidelberg Castle. In our tour we will show you the famous castle from Heidelberg, which has a historical history. The whole structure, the castle and the courtyard impress with their ruins and construction. The castle is several centuries old and offers a wonderful view over the city from its huge terrace. Here you are looking at one of the largest wine barrels in the world.

After visiting the castle we walk through the medieval center to the old bridge and the Karlstor, the Renaissance house to the knight, the Heiliggeistkirche. We drive about 1 hour back to the meeting point.

5.00The tour was excellent! Michael gave us a detailed history lesson, which helped us understand so well what we are seeing. He was friendly and an excellent communicator. Also, an excellent driver. He was also kind enough to arrange for the fog lifting and even a bit of sunshine.

5.00I went on the October 20 2025 tour. The tour left as a small group in two vehicles. The guide is very knowledgeable! The Heidelberg Castle is full of history! The walk in town was pleasant. Heidelberg University is part of the city. The guide provided a history lesson of the Heidelberg Castle on the way to the city. The guide provided a lot of free time - I felt very comfortable on this tour. This is a very nice and easy day tour. - Heidelberg Castle leaving from Frankfurt!

5.00It was such an amazing experience. A fantastic way to spend 5 hours away from frankfurt. The tour guide is a true history buff, Michael an amazing aerator! I felt safe the entire time, as a solo tourist. I recommend this trip to anyone who is visiting Frankfurt.
