Hoi An Ancient Town Ticket 120.000VND or 5USD/person. (The Hoi An Centre for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation requires visitors to purchase an entrance ticket for Hoi An’s Old Quarter. You will need to have this entrance ticket before joining the tour, and we request that you bring it with you on your Hoi An Food Adventure Tour in case local authorities check.)

First up – a local bakery that has been making the tastiest banh mi in town for many generations. From one local fave to another, next we’ll join locals at a small eatery, taking a seat on the ubiquitous small plastic chairs and sampling tasty BBQ pork rolled with rice paper and fresh herbs. Served with typical soya dipping sauce,

Authentic. Insightful. DELICIOUS. We would have never tried these foods on our own! Bong was so warm and insightful, we felt so grateful to have had a private tour with her. Each food stop was a full experience, seeing how each food was authentically made, enjoying it on little plastic stools. Bong answered all of our curiosities and we truly couldn’t get enough of each meal. Thank you Bong / Flora! We’ll be back :)

Bong/Flora is the person to ask for. She knows all the best places to go. Every place we sat down to eat was a small, family owned place tucked away in a hidden part of the street. Bong was able to order for us, explain the food and the history behind it in great detail. Lovely person, and this experience really gives you a feel for how the locals eat and live in day to day life. Every food was yummy! Highly recommend.

Chị Bông was a phenomenal host and showed us such a great time! My partner and I were apart of a lively group, but everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly and many of us ended up exchanging numbers!!! I’ll definitely be going back to the places she recommended. Cảm ơn rất nhiều chị!! ☺️❤️

Phuong is amazing .. I had the best time with her .. it was just the two of us.. she made me taste things I would have never tried and honestly I enjoyed everything .. she explained everything we tried .. it’s so beautiful to eat with the locals and experience how they live. This tour is authentic and an absolute must!!!

We did the local food tour with tour guide Bông (Flower) and absolutely loved it! Great tour guide, introduced us to some amazing spots, information about the town, food, history and local people. We had 9 stops all together ending with the most delicious tea and coffee spot. Great english and a nice walk through the town. All the food was great! Something for everyone too as one vegan was in our group and throughly enjoyed. Highly recommend!

Tonight we had the wonderful opportunity to meet Catherine, who was our private tour guide with The Street Food Man. From the moment we started walking through the lively streets of Ho Chi Minh City, she made us feel like locals. We visited five authentic local restaurants, tasting dish after dish of incredible Vietnamese food. Every bite was delicious, and although we ate far too much, it was nearly impossible to stop! What made the evening truly memorable was Catherine herself. She entertained us with her deep knowledge of local customs, food culture, and Vietnamese life, all delivered with warmth and a great sense of humor. Walking the streets with her felt like being out with a friend who just happened to know everything about the city. This was a fantastic experience — delicious food, great company, and insights you simply can’t get on your own. We would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh.
