Hoi An Unique Tour is a special experience designed to help travelers deeply understand how local people living on the river islands make a living. You will observe traditional daily activities such as fishing with nets and small wooden boats along the river.
Visit a local family to learn how Vietnamese rice wine is made using traditional methods. You will also enjoy a tasting session to discover the unique and rich flavor of this local drink.
Next, explore Mi Quang noodles, a famous specialty found only in Hoi An and Central Vietnam. You will learn how to make the noodles by hand and then enjoy them as your lunch.
To end the tour, relax on a 45-minute boat ride along the main river back to Hoi An Old Town. Enjoy stunning views on both sides of the river, peaceful countryside scenery, and a memorable journey that captures the true spirit of Hoi An.

What To Expect
Tra Nhieu Fishing Village
Our tour guide will pick up your group at 8:30 am at the hotel/meeting point, in your hotel is located in the city center. We will transfer to our bike station which is in a countryside area for bike fitting, helmets, and water. For the first stop, you will be surprised by the way locals make many different flavors of rice wine from the origin. You have a chance to interact with a famous local for rice wine and learn how he protects environment.
Cam Kim Island
Around 11:30 am, we meet the noodle-making family, learn how to make Mi Quang/Hoian traditional noodle, and enjoy what they have made for lunch with our noodles. Around 12:30 pm we continue to cycle to the different island Tra Nhieu, for fishing net along the river to know how they get the fish for daily eating and selling with small traditional boats. After that, we load all our bicycles on a private big boat and enjoy a boat ride returning towards Hoi An. What you can see on the boat during 45 minutes!! Fish Farms and fishing nets hang from the air. Tour ends at your hotel in Hoi An.

5.00Great morning cycle tour with Man - nice easy pace along flat country paths and quiet streets- brilliant stops at the mat maker, rice wine maker and noodle maker and delicious noodles for lunch. The basket boat trip and boat back to the Old Town were lovely too. Highly recommend this tour with Man!

5.00Did the bicycle tour today with Man and it was awesome! Highly recommend. He was very informative, took pictures and videos for us & shared with us the local history of Hoi An. I loved that this tour incorporated local vendors & families like local rice wine making, local weaving & noodle making for lunch! Connecting & supporting local families and businesses is really important to me, so I was stoked to have this experience today. The ride itself is nice & leisurely with beautiful views. 5.00Brilliant tour through the countryside outside Hoi An (and a nice escape from the busyness of the city!) Tour involved visiting a carpet weaver, trying rice wine, a spinning boat and rice noodle cooking class. Great tour at a good pace with lots of photographic stops!

5.00A great cycling tour in the countryside with many highly interesting visits to for example a bamboo weaver, a rice wine manufacturer, woodcarvers, and fisher women. A truly relaxing day away from the (too) busy streets of Hoi An. Tour guide Man’s explanations on the way added much value. The cycling itself is easy and there ample opportunity for picture taking. Highly recommended! Alexander

5.00This tour is 100% worth it!!! Man went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great time! When I couldn't ride the bike the whole distance he allowed me to go on the back of his which I was so greatful for! We got to see so much of the local life, even when we got a flat tyre we were able to witness a local lady doing some weaving. We learned how to make noodles with a lovely local lady and had a nice meal there, tried some rice wine from a local man who was incredible to see and we even were able to buy some from him. After we learned how to fish with nets in a boat which was very fun and exciting! At the end we went on a boat ride back to Hoi An Old Quarter and watched the sunset. Overall this experience is a MUST DO
