This tour will give you an insight and education into many local and traditional foods you wouldn't normally try and it will give you the ability to be confident in approaching street vendors whilst not just in Hoi An but in your travels all over Vietnam!
We will taste our way through the local Hoi An suburbs using main roads and smaller alleyways. We continue in a direction towards the old quarter of town stopping at least at different vendors to try their traditional foods and condiments!
We have a master list of over 40 different foods that we can try and on this tour we will try a minimum of 15 depending on which vendors are out and about on any given day. Along the way we pass numerous back alleys and locals going about their daily business with fantastic photo opportunities along the way. We will pass food vendors, tailors making suits, hair dressers, biscuit makers, mechanics, bakeries and an orphanage whilst also navigating Vietnams infamous scooter traffic!

5.00What a great time spent in Hội An, which started by scooter since Quan and his young colleague were picking us up in front of our hotel. Small trip to the edge of the rice fields, before starting the Safari food arriving at the market. And here, we left for a nice route in the city, going from spot to spot, for a snack, a dish, a drink, with plenty of explanations (our 2 guides speak impeccable English), on the dishes, on random stories of the streets, with a lot of good humor. It was a great experience to taste lots of great Hội An food, and to walk in this beautiful city with someone who loves his city. I highly recommend! Thank you Quan 🙏

5.00We're so happy to have done this food tour! That was great! It's very good, and we tasted dishes in places we wouldn't have been on our own. The dishes are not necessarily spicy, as long as you do not put the Chili sauce. Our guide Quan was great. He explained a lot about the dishes but also about Vietnamese culture and the city. It was really a great experience (this is part of our best time in Vietnam), go for it! Justine&Gavin

5.00We learned a lot about typical food from Hoi An and by extension Vietnam. The guide could tell passionately about Vietnamese food. He also knew a lot about Vietnamese traditions and history. The best tour we did in Hoi An. Highly recommended!

5.00We had an amazing morning with Quan. Besides the culinary interest of this tour, Quan showed us many hidden places in Hoi An and told us a lot about vietnamese culture and daily life. We've enjoyed all the food we had and really appreciated Quan's kindness and his perfect english. This tour is a very good way to discover and know more about Hoi An.

5.00This was an awesome experience and great way to try lots of different unique foods to Hue!!! Plenty of food - we weren’t even hungry for dinner! Quan was an absolute super star and he had some much knowledge about food and Vietnamese culture. He even helped us with tips and tricks for travelling to and spending time in Hue! Would 1000% recommend to anyone coming to Hoi An.

5.00Excellent time spent in the markets and streets of Hoi An, discovering local flavors and dishes. Very good mix between unusual discoveries and more classic but delicious dishes prepared in typical places. Our Vinh guide spoke perfect English. He was absolutely adorable and accompanied our whole visit with his smile and humor. Thank you to him for this wonderful shared moment. Also very good organization with pickup at the hotel in the morning by electric bus. As a bonus, tips for going to eat in the good places of Hoi An. We recommend without reservation.

5.00It was a real authentic experience with Tea. The tour is amazing, we taste a lot of things. All was very good. Tea is a very professionnal person who take time with you to explain a lot of things. She is human and friendly. We really enjoyed doing the tour with her.
