We love the natural beauty our country has to offer and want to share it in a fun-filled sustainable way. We'll take you to explore 7 epic snorkel stops; turtles, manatees, a ship wreck, sharks and rays, pristine corals at Hol Chan, the coral gardens and two sight seeing sights around Caye Caulker. After this tour you'll check so many things off of your bucket list and you'll learn so much about the Caribbean sea and we take Free GoPro photos/videos for you. Group size per boat is usually 4-10 people the most.

We do not use single-use plastics on board our boats, we do not touch or feed the marine life and we hire experienced, energetic guides to bring you the best experience there is to offer. We also give back a percentage of our profits to the local community at the end of the year to support a number of community projects.

***This tour is not for cruise ship passengers, we do not meet in Belize City which makes this tour not compatible with the cruise ship time frame.***

Awesome experience, lovely people, ethical option. Cheaper than other tours of this quality. Had a brilliant time.

This was an amazing activity. You're on the water all day and the guides really try to make sure you are able to see as much as possible. They even went out of the way so we could see a manatee. Everything was so beautiful

  • Great eco friendly option for Hol Chan

We had a great day out with Salt Life Eco Tours. We got to see all the animals that we wanted (turtles, sharks, dolphins, manatee, fish etc.). The tour was well organised and the equipment was good. Our captain Loki and colleague Christine were very fun and knowledgeable. Food was okay. The only reason for the reduction from 5 stars was that other people on the tour got some great photos taken with the gopro and we unfortunately got none. This was because they split the group in two, and only one half of our group therefore got any time with it for pictures and videos. It would have been nice for them to take the time to get at least one picture of each person, I have had this experience on other snorkeling tours and it's quite easy to do. We liked that the company was Eco friendly and didn't feed the wildlife and emphasised the respect for the reef and the animals. The boats are small and comfortable (max around 10-12 people per boat). Overall it was a really fun day and we loved the experience.

Awesome crew, very friendly and dedicated, and thoroughly guided tour. Beautiful coral reefs, cute turtles and very friendly sharks. Few things to watch out, there can be a sudden rain showers during the tour so bring warm clothes and there can be a long wait at departure. Very rough boat ride throughout the tour and no restrooms available from departure to the end except the ocean. They do give an option to use one of the restaurants bathroom for $1 at departure.
