An idea of the itinerary is as follows:

Depart at 8:30am for 15 Minutes boat ride to Hol Chan Marine Reserve followed by orientation.

8:45am to 9:45am snorkel At Hol Chan.

Boat ride to Shark Ray Alley 10 Minutes.

10am snorkeling at Shark Ray Alley for 25 - 35 Minutes.

10 Minutes ride to Coral Gardens for our 3rd Snorkel stop.

10:15am to 11:15am: Snorkel Coral Gardens.

10 Minutes ride from Coral Gardens to the North Channel to snorkel & look for Manatees.

Snorkel for approximately 45 Minutes at North Channel.

15 Minutes ride to Caye Caulker.

After consulting with our guests we make a decision to continue to tarpon interaction or take a break to Enjoy a warm Belizean Lunch.

At about 1:30pm; take some time to explore the laid back Island of Caye caulker where you can purchase souvenirs.

We depart at 3pm enroute to San Pedro with arrival there at about 4pm.

This was a very full day. A lot of “ bang for the buck!” I loved all of the stops and the respect for wildlife.

We went snorkeling with our guides Marvin and Kyle. They took the time to go through procedures and rules, while also keeping the excursion light and funny with their jokes. They both had vast knowledge of marine life, pointing out unique fish and plant life while underwater. This excursion was so much more than a snorkeling trip. Marvin and Kyle took us to feed tarpons, look for manatees, and more. Both guides double checked our equipment, took extra precautions with young children on the trip, and cut up fresh fruit for us to snack on. The full day excursion included lunch as well. For lunch, we stopped in Caye Caulker for a few hours and got to explore on land as well. This excursion— with the attention to safety, fun, and exploration— was the best one I’ve done.

They promised underwater photos taken by the guide (and we tipped $100 for the effort) but never received any photos!

I’ve done this tour twice with two different companies. Both were great and I’d totally recommend it! Today we saw turtles, sharks, manatees, and seahorses. It was a great day!!

My excursion with Ridge & Reef was amazing! I did the full day trip and wasn’t disappointed. The water was crystal clear and the diversity of marine life was incredible. I got to swim with a variety of fish, sea turtles, rays, and nurse sharks. My guides Abraham and Danny were very knowledgeable and personable as well. They kept everyone entertained. We stopped in Caye Caulker for lunch and to explore. It was an enjoyable experience. When I visit Belize again I will definitely book with Ridge & Reef.
