I have taken this tour 3 times. It has always been a great experience. I want to thank Capi Braulio and our tour guide Pato, for your patience, recommendations and delicious food. Amalia also provided a great customer service when booking. I definitely recommend this tour.

This was easily the highlight of our trip to la Paz BCS, Mexico, we booked two tours The Balandra and Espiritu Santo Island, to swim with sea lions, both tours were great, we got to see Whales on our boat ride on both tours, this was amazing. My grandsons loved the experience of swimming with sea lions. We had lunch at the beach, ceviche, sandwiches, cookies, pineapple, drinks included sodas and juices, they also set up umbrellas. The crew was friendly, professional and made the whole experience fun and relaxing. Special Thanks to Federico our marine biologist for all the information given on our tour. I'd highly recommend Alonso tours to anyone visiting La Paz! Gracias Norma B.

I really liked it but I feel like we were a lot of people for animals... Maybe there should be shifts to not bother them so much.

Good way to see the island, sea lions, stunning beaches. Water was cold, maybe should have rented a wetsuit at the start but was fine for the 25 minutes or so that we were in the water. Sea lions were on the rocks about 10 yards from us. Pancho, our guide, was great, very professional and explained everything in English (our entire group was English speakers). Jesus was a great helper too. Captain (forgot his name sorry!) was excellent and kept the ride smooth. Ceviche on the beach was DELICIOUS and sodas, juices and cookies were included. One kid in our group got a little seasick (nothing major) but the rest of the group was fine. We took medication ahead of time to be safe but probably didn’t need it. By pure luck we got to see a mama whale and calf on our way back, about 40 yards from the boat! Met at marina at 10 and returned at 4:45. Be warned: it took about 60 minutes maybe more to get to the island. So most of the tour is transiting, but there are great views. You’re in La Paz, might as well do it! PS our bed and breakfast proprietor coincidentally recommended Alonso tours to us after we had booked. I thought that was a good sign.

We visited Holy Spirit Island my wife, 4 daughters and I, and it was an amazing experience. From the beginning we saw whales jumping, which made the tour even more special. The snorkeling with sea lions was great, we saw a lot of fauna and the guides were always attentive and taking care of us, ideal to go with the family. The stop in Ensenada was spectacular, and the ceviche delicious! Great recognition to Panchito, Jesus and “El Papitas” for their excellent care, always friendly and patient. They even gave us time to enjoy the sighting of several whales. Fully recommended.

Such a special experience! The day consisted of boat tours (~2.5 hrs), guided snorkeling/swimming with sea lions (<1 hr), lunch/relaxation while anchored in a beautiful bay (1+ hrs), and even some whale spotting on our return to La Paz. A few recommendations: -If you want to order the vegan meal, you'll have to call the agency (Alonso Tours) in advance to let them know -If you tend to get cold in ~70-degree water, I highly recommend that you rent one of their wetsuits -Don't let the straps from your lifejacket dangle in the water while swimming with the sea lions -- they like to bite at loose, floppy things (as I experienced firsthand) -Bring a dry, warm change of clothes for after swimming, as it can be cold on the boat if you're wet Many thanks to the great staff!

This was one of the best spent days on our trip! Our guide Frederico and the captain made sure everyone felt comfortable, provided us with super interesting information about marine life, and went above and beyond by adding an unexpected trip to see jumping dolphins, over 500 of them!! Needless to say that swimming with sea lions and above beautiful soft coral reef was the experience of the lifetime. The food was delicious, and the beach where we stopped beautiful.

My husband Dave and I (Barbara) went on the Wild Territory tour to Isla Espíritu Santo yesterday and enjoyed it so much. The kids that were in charge were competent and very friendly and made the day carefree and happy. We saw baby mantra rays frolicking in the sea and of course the sea lions were beautiful. The tour was very environmentally conscious and informative. I recommend this tour company. Excellent. Oh yes. Great boat and engine, and captain.

Fantastic day with the family, saw so many wonderful sea creatures and of course sea lions. The beach was beautiful and the food delicious. Very informed and knowledgable guide (Frederico), the tour company was very respectful of the ocean and all that lives within it.

Our guide was informative, the crew was very accommodating. Lunch was fantastic and an added benefit was a pod of dolphins at the beach we stopped at. Swimming with the sea lions was a highlight of the trip!
