This was absolutely amazing!! I ended up having a private cooking class with grandma Oyet! She and her husband bong and nana were so warm and welcoming and the food was delicious! So much fun. I cook professionally and own a restaurant in the US and there was so much to learn here! Highly reccommended!!

Very special experience with grandma , grandpa and Nanna. They made me feel part of their extended family straight away. I learned to cook special dishes, chatted about life and learned some history. Great experience that I will remember for a very long time

Sharing a cooking experience in a Filipino home with a Filipino family. Cooking, talking, laughing, sharing life and history. Oyet is a lovely teacher, a morning I will forever remember.

Grandma, thanks for the afternoon together. I love learning new things and using the vinegar to preserve and finding sour notes from tamarind and Kamias is so fun for me. Keep having fun too. Power to u ;)

It was such a pleasant experience with grandma ,grandpa and their daughter. Their house was clean and comfy and they were all friendly to me and I could feel like I'm one of the family memebers. All of the dishes, from the starter to the dessert, were all amazingly going far beyond my expectations. I can't list the specific menu here, but absolutely Adobo that I learned how to cook was the best food I ever had in Philippines. Grandma was so kind to show me tips and the recipe . I will definitely try cooking it back home. What also impressed me was the story they shared with me about the local history in this last 50 years of city development. It was far better than the information on the internet to understand the social shift into the new phase of the entire Metro Manila. I am sure this is the things to do I've been waiting for. I can recommend it to anyone visiting Manilla. Finally, thanks a lot for your warm welcoming!! Kenji from Japan ありがとうありがとうありがとうありがとうありがとうありがとうありがとうありがとうありがとうありがとう!

Loved this class! the hosts were so lovely and really made you feel like part of their family. You can do as much or as little cooking as you want, and they'll adjust the class to your liking. The food was amazing but the company was even more amazing, highly recommend

Hosts (Grandma, Grandpa and Nana) were really welcoming, we felt at home there. First we tried some Philipino dishes that Grandma prepared beforehand (lunch) and then decided which two of them (there were 4-5) we wanted to try and cook ourselves. They were very encouraging, the vibe was relaxed, we were laughing a lot and we learned a bit about Philipino history and habbits. They were amazing hosts and gave some tips about Manila (taxis, which places are best to be avoided etc.). You could tell that they are hosting cooking class out of pure love for cooking and sharing their experiences with other people. Would 100% recommend. If we go back to Manila one day, I hope we can hang out again. Nana, Lola and Lolo, Nina&Miha love you❤️

Had a great time visiting Grandmas (and grandads) house and eating their home cooked meal. They told us about the area and their life and it was good to hear it from their perspective. Good luck for your golden anniversary 💕

Loved it loved it loved it! Lola Oyet and her family are so very warm and welcoming and just full of amazing stories about their time in their beautiful neighborhood, sharing their experiences as a loving couple raising their children during times of change to the location. This was such a personal experience, and I can feel how genuine my new Filipino parents are about hosting new guest. They were so interested in knowing my wife's and my stories as well, it was just such a warm, comfortable, organic time. And the food, oh the food! The, Best, Meal I had during my entire stay in the Philippines (I did a one month tour through Asia for work and holiday, with my first week working in Angeles City, and my last week on holiday in Manila). The introduction to new foods, the best Adobo I've ever eaten, the most refreshing drink I've had in recent memory, everything was 11 out of 10. Her grandkids and daughter-in-law made an appearance and they were just as sweet and welcoming, not once did we feel like we were intruding on their day to day lives in the home. My next visit I will book again just to come say hello, food is not even necessary, I just love this family that much from this one booking and can't imagine being in Manila and not connecting with them again. You deserve to have this similar experience, please book now. Salamat po Lola Oyet ❤️
