We'll meet at a central point in the Medina and guide you to our family home. Your experience begins with a traditional welcome of sweet mint tea and Moroccan pastries, making you feel like an honored guest.
Step 2: The Art of Moroccan Cooking
Learn to prepare a complete Moroccan meal using our family recipes. We'll guide you through creating fresh salads like Zaalouk and Taktouka, iconic tagines (a savory chicken with vegetables OR spiced meatballs), and a refreshing fruit dessert.
Step 3: Feast & Cultural Exchange
As your tagines simmer, we'll share stories about Moroccan traditions. This is your chance for a genuine cultural exchange and plenty of photos. Finally, we'll gather to enjoy the feast you helped create.
Bonus: Love the flavors? You'll have the opportunity to purchase the same authentic, high-quality spices we use in class at excellent prices, so you can recreate the magic of Morocco at home.

Step 1: A Warm Welcome Home Your authentic experience begins as we meet you and guide you to our family home. You'll be welcomed like an old friend with traditional sweet mint tea, immersing you in famous Moroccan hospitality from the moment you arrive. Step 2: The Heart of Moroccan Cooking The fun begins as you don an apron and learn to cook a full Moroccan meal with our family. We guide you step-by-step in preparing fresh Moroccan salads, iconic tagine (a savory chicken with vegetables OR a spiced kefta meatball), and a refreshing fruit salad for dessert. Step 3: Feast, Share & Create Memories While the tagines simmer, we’ll share stories about Moroccan life and traditions. This is your chance to ask anything! We'll capture the moment with photos before we all sit down to enjoy the delicious feast we created together, just like a real Moroccan family.Following your flight, the cultural immersion continues with an authentic Berber breakfast served in a traditional Moroccan tent. For ultimate convenience, this experience includes seamless door-to-door round-trip transfers, ensuring a completely hassle-free and memorable morning adventure.

5.00Abdo’s cooking experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco. My daughter and I did together. We felt like family as soon as we stepped in the door. Don’t hesitate to book with him. You will love it!! In addition to the cooking being awesome, talking with the locals and learning about their culture was wonderful. We will be back again one day!

Abdo and the rest of his team were so welcoming towards us and all the food we made was so delicious (and there was so much of it!). I would highly recommend this and would definitely go back again!!

5.00We had an absolutely amazing holiday in Morocco—definitely one of my all-time favourites—and the evening cooking experience with abdou and his cousin was a real highlight. Abdou is such a warm, genuine, and welcoming host. He guided us through preparing two delicious traditional tagines: one chicken, lemon, and olive, and one with beef meatballs. We also enjoyed traditional mint tea, but the real standout was the conversation. Chatting with abdou and his cousin about life in Marrakesh and the modern Moroccan way of life was fascinating and gave us such a rich insight into the culture. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested in learning about Moroccan kitchen and culture.
