What To Expect
The plan we offer you is to begin the journey having a country breakfast at a local breeder while the horses are being saddled and bridled. You can do it yourself if you wish. Once we have finished with breakfast we start the excursion: we make our way through the Maipo River, ride among the vineyards, we enjoy the wonderful views from the hills, we listen to the pure song of nature and we stop now and then to drink from streams of clean and fresh water. In all, we fully enjoy this idyllic spot. And as a bookend, we will delight you with a country grill and excellent wine next to an open fire. After the country grill, let´s visit Miraflores organic winery and have a tasting. Once inside the vineyard, your guide will explain you the facts that make this historic winery so interesting. Its past, some Chilean traditions and Miraflores Organic winery present state. Through the tour, you can walk in between the grape vines, the old estate house and the cellar, so you can immerse yourself in the organic wine agriculture. At the organic vineyard, We will tell you about its development, how it evolves and the technology behind that finally make Miraflores organic wine so excellent. Natural cultivation of the grape vines, with minimal human intervention, results in healthy and mature grapes, a high quality raw material for Miraflores line of organic wines. While walking inside the cellar, you will also be able to see some machines that where used in the wine making process during the winery´s early years and taste the Cabernet Sauvignon wine.

5.00We loved this experience so much that we ended up doing it twice! The horses were fantastic, and our guide made the ride even more enjoyable. We stopped to take stunning photos of the winery from the top of the valley — the views were breathtaking. Felipe’s enthusiasm was contagious, and he treated us to a wonderful grilled meal with perfectly cooked meats and vegetables, paired with fabulous wine. Carolina picked us up from our hotel and kept us entertained with fascinating stories about different vineyards. Her deep knowledge and years in the wine business really shone through. In the morning, the local artist served us a traditional Chilean breakfast featuring fresh bread — make sure you buy some from the on-site bakery before you leave! We enjoyed our first visit so much that we came back for a second tour. This time, Felipe arranged for us to learn about beekeeping before returning to the vineyard

His friendliness, his availability, his kindness satisfied us!! He pampered us with his delicate attention! Thank you 1000X Felipe!! Lunch at Constanza, super nice gifted artist, the good mood of Rodrigo, the baker, the horseback ride with Don Mario, the visit of the Santa Ema vineyards with Christian who not only knows his subject perfectly but who because of his enthusiasm made the tasting very pleasant! 5.00Best experience ever! Felipe and Pilar are the best guides of Chile. We had a private experience and that was awesome! A lot of history of Chile and personal experiences of each other make a great conversation! Horses are very friendly and the way was very beautiful! Felipe make a very good rustic barbecue e we experience great wines! I really recommend this experience!

5.00This excursion was the highlight of our trip! The listed excursion wasn’t exactly what we were looking for and Philipe created an itinerary perfect for us! The transportation was prompt, clean, and comfortable. Our guide, Christian, was so fun and informative! We learned so much from him! The horseback riding was so fun and the horses were obviously well loved and cared for. The lunch was one of the best meals of our trip! We also enjoyed wine tastings at 3 wineries and they were all amazing! The communication from this company was also excellent! Thanks for a wonderful day!

5.00Incredible day! We did so much but it was never rushed. Great to meet local residents for breakfast. The horse riding was pitched at a good level for our skill set. As we are 1 experienced rider and not beginner, it balanced not being too basic as we got to ride through the river & up hills and got an opportunity to run, but it was still accessible enough for a new rider. The bbq & wine lunch was so tasty and the views stunning. The vineyard was a large commercial one but still family owned and our guide there was very knowledgeable. Our guide for the day, Gerald, was so knowledgeable and gave us great tips for our next day in the city & onwards travel. Only point to note is we booked a private tour & felt the price was quite reflective of that. Our transport was private but the riding & winery tour was with another party of 2. This might be because we booked last minute & so were fitted into another tour (which is much better than no tour at all). It wasn’t a problem & we had an incredible time but the other party had different objectives to us (e.g. we didn’t feel we could ask lots of questions on the wine tour as they wanted to rush through to the tasting), so we might’ve got more out of the tour if it had been private, as we booked. Regardless of that specific situation, we would highly recommend this company and tour. An absolute highlight of the trip.

5.00Wow what a day. The tour was magnificent. We rode horses surrounded by the most beautiful mountainous scenery. The food was very tasty and authentic. Felipe and Christian were great. I highly recommend this experience.

5.00We had the best day ever with Christian and Felipe. The horseback ride was amazing ( especially the BBQ at the top of the mountain) and the wine tour had great wines. Christian and Felipe both are excellent in English and go out of their way to make sure you have a great day. Every thing is very well organized ( from the moment of booking) and highly recommended.
