What To Expect
Avenida Chile Centro Comercial y Financiero
One of our guides will meet the tourists at the main entrance of the Avenida Chile shopping center, then we will go in a private vehicle up to 4 people, if the group is more people we will go by public transport) for 40 minutes where the horses are waiting for us to begin the adventure we will be able to appreciate beautiful landscapes
La Calera
At this point we will leave the vehicle, we will give them the helmets and activate the medical assistance card, we will take a 5-minute walk to where the horses are, where we will begin the horseback riding activity that lasts approximately 2 hours where we will observe the mountain from the mountains. town of La Calera, the San Rafael Reservoir and native vegetation of the Andes

5.00I booked a 2-hour horseback riding tour in Bogota’s Eastern Hills with Montana Ecological Tourism, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. I was picked up at the agreed meeting point by Ruben, who was also my guide for the ride. From the very beginning he was friendly, welcoming, and made sure the tour matched exactly what I was hoping for - especially plenty of opportunities to gallop, which the trails were perfect for. Throughout the ride Ruben shared a lot of interesting information about the area and nature, and it was truly a pleasure to have him as a guide. I felt comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. In fact, another activity I had planned in Bogotá got cancelled, and I didn’t hesitate for a second to book this tour again the very next day, which says a lot about how much I enjoyed it. All the best wishes to Ruben and the company, and I can highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bogotá who wants a memorable riding experience.

5.00The tour was very pleasant with some spectacular views. The guides were great too. If you’re experienced you are free to gallop which I enjoyed. If you’re inexperienced you can trot along at a leisurely pace.

5.00Great experience. Beautiful scenery and a very pleasant route. Horses are very careful and used to people, you don't have to have experience. Guides Andres and Sofia are a charm, explain everything and make you feel at home

5.00loads of galloping in the mountains on excellent and extremely surefooted “ creole horses”. Truly an experience that I will never forget. My guide Andreas was very easy to communicate with and he was a wealth of information about the terrain of the Andes Mountains near Bogota, Columbia. Together we traversed as high as 3001 meters! He showed me the remote homes nestled in the mountains and the reservoir that serves all of Bogota! Simply breathtaking!

5.00Ruan was an incredibly patient and gentle guide, answering all my curiosity questions about the flora and fauna and ensuring i had the most amazing experience and view of the reservoir when we got to the top. He also slowed down the ride for me when my poor bottom was getting bruising from the ups and nd down of the canters. Halfway through he learned i was vegetarian (i didn’t realize the specialty of the restaurant was meat!) and quickly “phoned home” to have them spin up something just for me without telling me so that when i arrived I was rather pleasantly surprised to see a dish of vegetables prepared just for me after the ride
