Wonderful experience with Pedro and his team, from the first contact in the fall of 2024 and the planning of the two-week adventure. Mabel was a knowledgeable cultural guide, and provided plenty of insights during days spent in La Paz, El Alto, Tiwanaku and Lago Titicaca. Pedro is an extremely experienced and seasoned guide, which allowed for flexibility on planning and itinerary. Shout-out also to Ed, cook and organizer extra-ordinaire. We are highly recommending Pedro and his team, and thank everyone for the memories.

Climbed Huayna Potosi via the Normal Route over 3 days with Bolivian Mountaineering. The whole trip was very well organised. We were well supported by our porter, 'Speedy Rosario', and our cook, Gabi, who prepared great meals for us at both the Base Camp and High Camp huts. Jose, my guide, was excellent, very experienced, professional, skilled, safe and good company throughout the trip. Overall, Bolivian Mountaineering provided a really great experience and I'd highly recommend them if you want a top quality company for your Huayna Potosi climb.

I 100% would return and use Bolivian Mountaineering again and I highly recommend this specific company! Their many years of experience, countless times on all of the mountains in Bolivia and beyond, personal expeditions adding to their experience, makes me want to come back soon to do more technical objectives with them. I truly trust their experience and knowledge. Their leadership in the mountains to even other companies in the area, shows Bolivian Mountaineering's difference which makes them the best in the country. I had nine days in Bolivia and they sorted a custom itinerary. We successfully summited 1. Huayna Potosi 6,088 meters (19,974'), 2. Volcan Parinacota 6,348 meters (20,822 feet) with a ski descent down, and 3. Nevado Sajam 6,542 meters (21,458 feet) with this company. They coordinated airport logistics, acclimatization hikes, including Charquini 5,392 meters (17,690 feet), all the food, water, lodging, driving, boot rentals, and fun (like exploring La Paz). They even took amazing pictures/video and even got a few drone pictures/videos which was above and beyond of them. Most importantly, I felt safe (female traveling solo), taken care of with thoughtful weather and acclimatization considerations, I felt listened to, part of the planning, and at ease the whole time. Huge 'thank you' to Pedro, his family, the company, Pepe, and all the great people we met along the way. Bolivian Mountaineering is trustworthy, experienced, excellent value for the cost, and my trip was better than expected. *I have also climbed in Ecuador and Nepal. Can't recommend them enough!

This agency deservers six stars to highlight the outstanding experience. Pedro created the perfect itinerary for us and we got exactly what we were looking for on the mountain. The execution was impeccable. And the team around Pedro is highly trained. Ovi was the perfect guide for the summit day, Dani cooked delicious food, and Pepe made logistics as easy as it could be. Thank you very much to the entire team for this individual 3 day Huayna Potosi experience. It exceeded our expectations.

If you are considering climbing any of the mountains in Bolivia, make sure it’s with Pedro and his team at Bolivian Mountaineering. Pedro’s guidance, professionalism, and passion for the mountains and not to mention vast expertise make all the difference. I summited Huayna Potosi with him as a solo traveller and incredibly grateful for a fantastic experience where despite the challenging weather conditions, I always felt safe and led by the very best and lucky to have made a successful summit in rain season! An incredible climb with a wonderful guide and friend.

100% recommend booking with Bolivian Moutaineering. From the get go, we immediately felt ease. They will put your Well-being first, for example Pedro checked the weather before our trip and advised against us going at the time so we changed our plans because we were able to. Bolivian Mountaineering is also an ethical company - a small % is donated to the local community. We had the experience of a lifetime thanks to Bolivian Moutaineering and strongly feel we wouldn’t have achieved our goals with another company having seen the difference in service provided. Everything is geared towards helping you achieve your goal. A lot of thought is put into the whole experience The equipment they provided was to European standards, they even provided some things we hadn’t even asked for that were extremely useful. Our cook Dani was amazing, providing not only really nutritious but also delicious meals. The Altitude can affect your appetite, we ate it all! Again we noticed the stark difference in what other tours were providing. The accommodation they book is done with a lot of thought, they want you to rest. They are the only company we saw providing porters, again all this helps to conserve your energy for the summit on day 3. José our guide was phenomenal, and honestly we felt like family for a few days! Pedro himself joined us for the summit, which was incredibly kind (and helped us achieve our goal!). We faced treacherous conditions and Pedro will put your safety above all else. He is an extremely experienced moutaineer (as are the guides he works with). We felt at ease immediately on meeting with him, and knew we had to book here. This company is worth every penny and more. I spoke to a lot of company’s providing this tour and I can 100% recommend Bolivian Moutaineering for all your mountain experiences in this beautiful country PS - company has changed address on Google Maps. We contacted Pedro directly and he was quick to reply.

I had an amazing experience working with Pedro, Obi and the Bolivian Mountaineering team. They provided 'door-to-door' service and made the trip one to never forget. We summitted Austria, Tarija, and Potosi during our 7 days in Bolivia. The team was very professional and I always felt safe despite my relative inexperience. They provided any equipment that we were lacking. The food during the expeditions was amazing and nourishing. I'm already talking about our next adventure with the Bolivian Mountaineering team. Highly recommend that you work with this group as there are a number of Bolivian mountaineering groups that are untrustworthy and only care about pushing people quickly in order to have them turn around sooner... Go with this group!!

Great guides and professional service. We ended up being the first to summit the mountain the day we climbed. I would recommend. Quick to respond to questions.
