It is eaten fresh and warm when it is crunchy, topped with sour cream and grated cheese, bacon, different paprika, red onion or most frequently, without toppings, just brush with garlic cream. In Hungary there is no summer or festival without Langos. Come and join us and you understand why we say this. During this class from the beginning to the end we make together this delicious dish and you can taste 2 different types of Langos with different toppings as well. When you fried your Langos (Classic & Potato), you can enjoy them with a glass of Hungarian wine, homemade soft drinks.

Great experience, can’t recommend it enough, Marti and her husband are very friendly and involved everyone both with the cooking experience and drinks options. There was the right amount of group involvement and individual cooking. Feels like a sense of achievement when you eat what you have made. Cooking experience didn’t cause any issues and was all a fun experience working together as a group, well worth it and lovely to try traditional cuisine.

We had the best time, this class was so much fun and informative!! Marti was so much fun and really cared, the experience was top notch and really fun! If you get a chance I highly recommend this experience, it is more than worth the cost.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this cooking class! It was a fun and homey time in a cozy apartment with Marti, our tour guide, and our fellow students. The hands-on cooking was a lot of fun, and the results were delicious. Recommend!

Chef Marti was a delight! She had a wonderful sense of humor, and encouraged everyone to participate. She told interesting stories of growing up in rural Hungary. We made Classic and Potato Langos. They are a traditional Hungarian "street food" often served at fairs. They are basically a fried flatbread covered with bacon, peppers, cheese and sour cream - very, very delicious, served with Hungarian wine! Marti was an excellent teacher, and obviously a very experienced chef. She was aided by her husband, Peter, who also helped make this a great experience. The cooking class was also in a great part of town, near the Opera House, St. Stephen's Basilica and Andrassy Avenue, so walking around afterwords was also wonderful.

Probably the highlight of my Viking River cruise along Danube, and I know nothing about cooking. Just a great experience guiding us through The intranecies of making a Hungarian specialty. Really enjoyed it and very highly recommend it.

This is probably one of my favourite experiences I've ever done. The venue was a lovely open kitchen very close to our hotel just near the beautiful opera house. Our host/chef/tutor was Marti and she was brilliant. She made the whole experience inclusive, fun, was keen to share knowledge and techniques. My partner and i had a great time, prepping, kneading and then frying. It's just the right amount of hands on, we were with a small group (2 other couples) and they had experienced bakers amongst them and they were as impressed with the knowledge gained as we were as newbies. The langos was absolutely delicious, we had yroed them previously on a food tour the night before but the ones we made here absolutely blew them out of the water. So fresh and delicious and I'm writing this at 8pm 8 hours after we finished and I'm still not hungry. You weren't joking Marti. Thank you for a great experience.

Marti does a wonderful job at teaching 2 different ways to make traditional Langos. It’s a hands on experience. Which I think is great. You can understand the correct consistency of the dough. Best of all you get to taste both ways.

We had a great time. We wanted to pick a cooking class that we could learn and make at home. The dish was very simple to make and unbelievably delicious. We will be throwing a langos party when we get home. The couple running the class were very nice and hospitable. The cooking area and eating area was very clean and modern. I would highly recommend.

Great class. We actually made Langos from scratch ourselves. Then cooked and ate them - tasted great. We learnt a lot - will make them at home.
