The Ilha Grande 360º Trekking Expedition is one of the most beautiful beach trekking experiences in Brazil. Starting ad finishing at Rio de Janeiro city is a must for adventure traveleres.
In this 7 day travel experience, you'll hike a distance of approximately 70 km after departing in a 2-hour transfer from Rio de Janeiro to the island. It's the perfect mix between beach, nature and culture! Get to know the fishermen communities also known as "caiçaras" villages, all belonging to the famous municipality of Angra dos Reis.
You will have direct contact with residents and have meals in their small pensions. You will also overnight in these small villages, where men and nature found balance. Trekking Ilha Grande 360º is performed throughout trails, constant mountain ascents and descents, rivers crossing and beaches of paradisiacal scenery.

Praia De Conceicao de Jacarei
Leaving your hotel in Rio de Janeiro, we will head towards Conceição de Jacarei, where we will embark on a speed boat to Ilha Grande.
Abraao Beach
Arriving at Abraão village, we will start our trekking around the island. We will walk about 9km to Saco do Céu Cove, where we will have our first overnight camping trip.
Saco do Céu - Bananal

Saco do Ceu Beach
When we wake up in the morning around 7am, we will dismantle the camp and head towards Bananal Beach, where we will spend our second night on the Island.
Enseada do Bananal Beach
We will walk approximately 9 km to Bananal beach where we will have our meal of the day and spend our second night.
Bananal - Araçatiba

After waking up, we will pack our backpacks and continue to the third day of walking towards Araçatiba beach, that day will be approximately 15 km, passing several magnificent beaches and taking a break in the green lagoon, much sought after by boat trips.
Lagoa Verde, Ilha Grande
Lagoa Verde is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset and take great pictures swimming with colorful fish
Araçatiba - Aventureiro

That day, we will start walking around 8am, and we will go towards the beach of Aventureiro, passing through Provetá, where we will have a lunch break

Praia Do Aventureiro
After waking up, we will have the morning to enjoy the beach and we will make a boat crossing to Parnaióca beach, and we can enjoy the afternoon in this other sensational beach. On that day we walked very little because it is not allowed to cross the biological reserve walking

Parnaioca Beach
On that day, we will walk towards Dois Rios village, where we will have a lunch break, we will be able to know the beach and the history of this place before following the unpaved road back to Abraão village.
Parrot's Peak

Pico do Papagaio
We will climb Parrot's Peak at dawn around 3 am so we can see the wonderful sunrise from the top of the mountain. After we descend, we will go to the pier, to return to the mainland and return to Rio de Janeiro.

5.00We did the half-turn trekking from Isla Grande with the Nattrip with the guides Rodrigo and Ariadna. We had a wonderful experience, everything very beautiful and the tour was very organized. I recommend!
