What To Expect
Join us for a memorable adventure that starts at the stunning Cueva del Indio Natural Reserve in Arecibo. Here, you’ll have the chance to explore fascinating coastal arches that offer breathtaking, panoramic ocean views. We’ll delve into the geology of the area, enriching your experience with intriguing insights about the landscape. We will learn about our heritage and incredible history of this unique place. Our exploration continues as we visit two amazing waterfalls at the Tanama River in Arecibo and where you're able to swim. On our way back to San Juan we'll stop to eat at a local restaurant (at your own expense)

5.00Such a fun day trip. The tour provided so much local information and the guide was clearly passionate about providing a VIP experience. We loved the hiking, the incredible views, and the water spring was the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00There were three stops, each stunning. We hiked to see where the ocean carved rocks, visited a bat cave, and swam in a natural spring. It was a fantastic excursion for the family that was wholly immersive in the sights and sounds of PR's landscapes, from the thunderous crashing of white capped waves in the sea caves at our feet at the beach cliffs to the sonorous echoes of bats fluttering in waves in the caves by the natural spring. It was a day of memories made that even the kids found worthy of the trek. Abdiel was very knowledgeable about the history of Puerto Rico as well as the nature surrounding us.

5.00Abdiel was our guide. He was fantastic from beginning to end. Be prepared to walk across uneven and rough terrain as well as getting wet. We visited 3 different locations. Each stop was amazing. Beautiful black sand beach, then on a hike to see where the water has carved out the rock leaving amazing beauty behind. Last stop was to hike back to a cave with bats and bugs I’ve never seen. Then back out to a natural spring where we had a chance to interact with a local family and swim in a very refreshing natural spring. The places we saw are not overrun by tourists. Such a wonderful adventure. I would highly recommend booking one of these tours. Note: Be sure you are physically fit enough to do a lot of walking on uneven ground and have shoes with good traction. No flip flops! The tour is all day, not just 4 hours.
Don’t Think About It- Just Book Abdiel!

5.00Abdiel was a wonderful host! Our excursion with him felt like hanging out with a friend. We were the only two on the tour and the vibes were friendly and fun; we spent the whole time joking and chatting. Abdiel went out of his way to make our experience as fun and safe as possible. Whether he was taking pictures of my wife and myself or showing us the correct way to climb down slippery paths, our tour guide was attentive and helpful. The food stop was much needed after the hike and the spot Abdiel took us to was affordable and delicious (I recommend the pollo guisado and platanos amarillos)! Pick-up and drop-off was easy, Abdiel even left us directly at our accommodation. The tour lasted more than 4 hours, but we had so much fun that it didn’t feel very long at all. Overall, the tour to Cueva Del Indio was an unforgettable experience. It’s a perfect excursion for casual hikers and those that want to learn about nature. When I return to Puerto Rico I will definitely book another tour with Abdiel.
