Thank you to Frank, our guide for persevering with the wind, rain and cold. It was an insightful, fascinating walking tour. It was truly an inspiration on the wonderful impact an energetic and strategic city can achieve. History, the present and future; and business, culture, residential and leisure are all melted together in a symbiotic way. Frank was well informed, humorous and full of energy. I fully recommend this walk.

We truly enjoyed this tour with Frank. We learned a lot of interesting facts and history about Media City, Salford and the Manchester area as a whole, which Frank illustrated with pictures. The audio system is a very nice addition and made the experience seamless, allowing us to drift off to take a photo on occasion without missing anything! It helped that we were the only booking that day and we were grateful that Frank did the tour just for the two of us!

...superbly delivered in a fascinating, well-structured and engaging tour. Seven thousand steps and every one of them interesting. From racecourses, railways and rock stars, Buffalo Bill to the Beckhams, bomb craters to banning AirBnB... there wasn't a moment when something intriguing hadn't occurred in or around the place we were passing through. Incredibly good value - Frank had turned out for me alone - and his talk covered everything from the most moving and heart-rending stories to absolute trivia. Abraham Lincoln to Albert Tatlock - it was all here. I really can't recommend this walk enough...

I had a great experience on this interesting and informative guided tour of MediaCity and Salford. I accidentally missed my bus so was running late for my tour, but when the tour guide Frank rang me just after 10:30 to check if I was coming, I apologised and explained about missing my bus but he was totally understanding and accepting of that. It turns out that I was the only person on today’s tour, so I ended up having a private leisurely guided tour. Frank was very nice and even offered to take photos of me along the way too.
