What To Expect
[Sample Tour Schedule – On the Day of the Tour] ① 9:00 – Pick-up from Uehara Port or your accommodation (Uehara area only) ↓ ② 9:20 – Arrive at the first field! ↓ ③ 9:30 – Start of the first activity! ↓ ④ 11:00 – End of the first activity ↓ ⑤ 11:30 – Break time. Take a rest before the next activity. ↓ ⑥ 13:00 – Break ends. Head to the next field. ↓ ⑦ 13:30 – Arrive at the second field! ↓ ⑧ 13:45 – Start of the second activity! ↓ ⑨ 14:45 – End of the second activity ↓ ⑩ 15:15 – Return to Uehara Port or your accommodation Please note: The schedule may change depending on weather, tide conditions, number of participants, or season. Important Notes for Tour Participants Please read carefully to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Punctuality & Advance Notice Please be sure to arrive at the meeting time. If you are late or absent without prior notice, it may be treated as a cancellation, and cancellation fees may apply. If you will be late, please contact us in advance. Final Confirmation We will contact you with details such as the meeting time and location by the day before the tour via the phone number or email you provided. Please register contact information that can be reached within Japan. If you do not receive any communication by 6:00 PM the day before, please contact “IRIOMOTE ADVENTURE PiPi” using the method listed on your ticket. Hotel Pick-up If you request a hotel pick-up service on Iriomote Island, the meeting time may differ from the standard schedule. To confirm the exact meeting time, please be sure to contact us via the method listed on your ticket the day before the tour. Participation Requirements SUP: Ages 12–59 Canoeing: Ages 6–59 Pregnant individuals, children under 6, and those with pre-existing medical conditions cannot participate. For Those with Concerns If you are worried about physical fitness or feel anxious about the ocean or rivers, please consult with us in advance. Equipment & Safety For activities involving water, wearing a life jacket, fins, and snorkeling mask is mandatory. If you are unwilling to wear the required equipment, we regret that you will not be allowed to participate. Please follow the guide's instructions at all times to ensure safety. Weather Conditions The tour will proceed even in the rain. However, it may be canceled if the field is deemed unsafe. Clothing & Preparation Please wear clothes that can get wet. There are no toilets at the tour sites, so please use the restroom beforehand. Participation under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Showers Showers are available at our office. Please bring your own change of clothes and towel. Note: Boarding the ferry in wet clothing may be denied. Languages Tours are conducted in Japanese or English. Depending on booking conditions, the tour may be conducted in Japanese only. Thank you for your understanding.

5.00The group ranged from young children to people in their 50s, but the guides took care of each one for everyone to enjoy. They explained the safety precautions carefully in advance, and even people who are not good swimmers could enjoy it with peace of mind. We enjoyed canoeing, snorkeling and spending plenty of time. Thank you very much. The toilet break is one between canoeing and snorkeling, and you may want to be careful not to drink too much water if you are close to the toilet, as snorkeling makes you feel cold and want to go to the toilet. You can go to the bathroom when you come back from Barras Island and take a shower. Finally, I think it’s a great service to have your photos on LINE. I'm glad I took part.
It's definitely a family trip.

5.00I was tired of canoeing, but I enjoyed seeing the mangrove forest up close. The sea was cold on Barras Island, but it was great to be able to make landfall by the low tide. Also, Jun-san was handsome.

5.00We canoed in the morning and snorkeled in the afternoon. We were planning to snorkel on Barras Island, but due to the waves and the weather, it was a snorkel in the nearby sea. As for canoeing, we split into two groups and went to the mangrove forest. I was able to enjoy the charm of the great outdoors and the fun time in the canoe. Snorkeling was easy to see the coral from the shallow water level, but also plenty of fish. Miraculously, we met clownfish, sea snakes and partridges. They also take pictures, so if your guide dives deep, you have a chance to take a photo✌️ Incidentally, in both the latter half of the first half, a big brother named Okun was in charge He is energetic and well supported, so you can talk to him about anything if you need help 🙆♂️ I'd like to participate in some kind of activity next time I get the chance.

5.00Participated in the Umi × Kawa tour. (2026-04-18) The bad weather prevented us from going to Barras Island on the "sea" side, but instead we went into the water from the "star sand beach" and had a great snorkeling experience. I was impressed by the beautiful tropical fish and coral reef, of course I encountered clownfish, sea snakes and sea cucumbers that were so huge I had never seen them before! The commentary from the staff was also good. The river was able to go to the right place as planned. It was great to learn about the brackish water creatures that live there and to learn about mangroves. The weather wasn't good, but I was glad it did, in turn, lift the spirits of exploration! It was not SUP but canoe participation. It was my first canoeing experience, but the explanation was easy to understand and I enjoyed participating without any struggle!
