A bit of a letdown

3.00The caves were actually pretty cool and worth seeing. Swimming with the turtles, however, was a big letdown. A local guide was calling the turtles, but if you actually wanted to see them up close while he fed them, you had to pay extra - which wasn’t mentioned beforehand. The area where you swim with them was also smelly and dirty, nothing like the clean, beautiful photos advertised. After that, they took us to a beach where everything was extremely overpriced. We spent about $300 for 6 people just to eat burgers and have one drink each. On top of that, we had to pay extra just to sit on chairs or rent a cabana. Overall, it was an okay experience because of the caves, but everything else felt like a tourist trap with hidden costs and disappointing conditions. Wouldn’t recommend unless you go in knowing what to expect.

5.00My wife and I took this tour on our fourth day on the island. We had gotten a car to explore the island the previous two days so we went in thinking this tour would be more of the same but we were happily mistaken! The tour took us to Hato caves, two beaches, and we even got to see some flamingos! We were also very pleased to see quite a few sea turtles at one of the beaches we stopped at. Our tour guide was very informative and was teaching us about the island and the cultures history for the duration of the bus rides. He also gave us an option to preorder lunch at a restaurant on the second beach we visited so we could get a quick lunch. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone interested in seeing and learning the history of the island.

5.00They are so knowledgeable and friendly! I loved this experience. I got really sea sick and they checked on me and told me all about the beach and turtles! They are the best. The whole drive was an educational experience! I learned so much from this tour! They kept it fun and interesting! Would totally do it again!
