The Isle of Man is a UNESCO Biosphere reserve and is the perfect location for a wildlife & scenic adventure. Venturing into the wilderness, you may be the only people for miles around. The Island hosts a healthy population of Hen Harriers, Choughs and Peregrine Falcons found in both cliff habitats and urban areas. Depending on the season various bird species can be seen including Gannets, Curlew, Skylark, and Tern colonies, along with marine wildlife, like Atlantic Seals. We will explore some of our protected and rare habitats such as the Ayres National Nature Reserve with its distinctive landscape of shingle, sand dunes and beautiful lichen heath where a number of Orchids grow. Every tour can be tailored to suit your pace, preferences, and individual needs including visiting places that are wheelchair accessible if required, so don’t hesitate to get in touch and discuss your specific needs with us. Having never visited the Isle of Man before we wanted to see as much of the island as it was possible and to see areas that we would otherwise have missed. Louise is a brilliant guide and knows so much about her home, and is happy to share this with her guests. It felt more like a day out with an old friend rather than with someone we had just met. The day felt leisurely and it was only when we had finished that we realised just how much we had done. Louise is very knowledgeable about most things Manx; wildlife, environment, history, and certainly knows her way around. But above all, she is a lovely lady whose passion for the island comes across in all that she does. We cannot praise a day out with Louise enough, and strongly recommend her to you.

We spent an entire day with the lovely Louise basically circumnavigating the island. It was amazing as is Louise. She is immensely kind, knowledgeable and intuitive. Be assured that a booking with Louise will be wonderful and informative. We even caught a glimpse of a hen harrier!

We had an absolutely spectacular day with Louise exploring the Isle of Man. We booked a full day and were so happy we did as it allowed us to see as much of this spectacular Isle as possible given the short duration of our visit. Louise's knowledge of the history of the Island as well as in depth knowledge of the birds and wildlife in all habitats on the Isle allowed us to maximize what we were able to see and experience as we rode with Louise to very specific locations we requested. I highly recommend spending the day with Louise on the Isle of Man! Thanks again so much for the wonderful day, Louise!

Wow, what an absolutely amazing day! My husband and I booked a full-day tour and let the guide know our interests in advance. She tweaked her usual tour itinerary and planned the *perfect* day for us all over the Isle of Man! We could not have wished for a better guide to share the wonder that is Isle of Man. 100% recommend!

Fantastic! The best tour - of any kind - we've ever had! Louise was very knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible. We really felt we had a complete bespoke experience. We were interested primarily in birdwatching, but we got so much more out of the tour, like ancient and recent Manx history, and an overall appreciation of the ecology of the island. This is a 6-stars out of 5 tour! Highly recommend you book this one!
