What To Expect
Phang Nga Bay.
Phang Nga Bay lies between southern Thailand's mainland and Phuket Island. Also known as Ao Phang Nga National Park, it's characterized by limestone cliffs and rock formations, as well as mangrove forests and small islands. Among the islands are Koh Tapu, known as James Bond Island for its appearance in a Bond film. Koh Phanak Island is known for its caves and lagoons. The bay's waters are dotted with coral reefs.

A distinctive trait of this famous bay is the number of sheer limestone cliffs that vertically jut out of the emerald-green water.

5.00We did this tour the very next day after our arrival.... Remember to take your swim water shoes... Forgot ours and they sell them before you head off. Take a high sun factor as you are on the sea all day. All the islands were perfect and they give you snorkling gear off the boat. We enjoyed the Kohpaneye floating village with football pitch.... Seen with Greg Wallis earlier this year on TV.... The food for lunch there was fabulous and included in the trip... Hong Island was fabulous also..

5.00James Bond island, canoeing, and Kopanyee were very nice to experience. Longtail boat gets you everywhere but be sure to bring your earplugs. Longtail engines are very noisy and it would be recommended to ad this to the trip description to prevent hearing damage on any trip where these boats are involved (or the speedboats).

5.00The whole trip was fabulous. Moo was our guide and was very informative. Pick up at the hotel was on time (we were a tiny bit late!) As it was the low season James Bond Island was very quiet. We had read reviews that it can be crazy busy but the timing was perfect. Weather excellent hence boat ride was very smooth. Canoe tour very pleasant. Got a little glass souvenir at the floating village where a lad was making them. Our 3 teenagers 16,15 and 13 had a blast.

5.00Superb day despite the weather which turned to rain. Very friendly guide, but just a lack of rest, no snorkeling. Otherwise, the scenery is absolutely sublime
