This tour offers a one-day journey through three significant historical periods and cultures, including Umm Qais's Hellenistic and Roman history, Ajloun Castle's medieval Islamic military architecture, and Jerash's Roman urban planning. The sites showcase different types of ruins: Jerash as a large ancient city, Umm Qais with Roman and Ottoman ruins against natural scenery, and Ajloun as a fortress. It's a highly efficient trip for limited time, combining three major northern Jordan attractions into one day. It also highlights northern Jordan's fertile, green landscape, contrasting with the desert scenery of Wadi Rum and Petra.

First Stop - Umm Qais: The tour often begins with the longest drive, heading to the northernmost site, Umm Qais (ancient Gadara). This is a strategic choice, as you can spend the morning at the site before the midday sun becomes too intense. Perfect day! Mohammad, our driver, was extremely considerate and told us so much about Jordan! We had a tremendous and wonderful experience. Especially loved Jerash, and hope to visit again some day. Mohammad gave us some excellent suggestions for the remainder of our days in this beautiful country. He even made us a small gift which was extremely thoughtful!

Full day trip to learn about present-day Jordan’ place in Ancient Rome. Jerash was the most amazing site for seeing ancient Roman ruins and appreciating their sophisticated engineering skills.

Bardaghawi was great. Very friendy and professional, and made sure I was well taken care of. Jerash was beautiful, with lots to explore. Ajloun castle was neat to explore. Unfortunately, the rainy weather affected my enjoyment of Uum Quais, so I can't really say whether I would recommend it or not. If you can only visit one, choose Jerash!

I had an amazing tour of Jerash, Ajloun, and Umm Qais in Jordan with Mumen! It was such a wonderful experience exploring these fascinating historical sites. Mumen was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts about the history, culture, and daily life in Jordan. He made the tour both educational and enjoyable. The highlight for me was when he took me all the way to the point where Jordan, Syria, and Israel meet, what a view! It was the perfect way to end the day. Mumen was also very friendly, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure I had the best experience possible. If you’re visiting Jordan and want to discover its rich history with someone passionate and professional, I highly recommend booking a tour with Mumen!

A very good option for a one-day trip. Jerash is an outstanding ancient city — it feels like a complete urban landscape rather than just scattered ruins, thanks to its remarkably well-preserved main road and layout. Umm Qais shares some similarities, though its remains are on a much smaller scale. Nevertheless, it was still worthwhile to visit, especially given its unique location on the border with Syria and Lebanon. My driver, Adnan, was very respectful and punctual, always providing clear instructions on how best to explore each site. Thank you
