  Such an amazing experience! Lots to see and do. The waters were gorgeous. Best experience my daughter and I had. Hotu our guide was great. He took us to see the surfing, beautiful waters, turtles, coral and snorkeling, sharks, rays…we saw it all and had a blast doing it in our Jet ski. The jet skis were well maintained and ran great and super fast! I give a 10 out of 10!!

  This tour exceeded my expectations (and I've done several similar tours in other places). Scenery is gorgeous, that goes without saying. But the variety of what we were able to do was really what set us apart. Got a bit skittish in the beginning when the guide insisted we stay right behind him and never stray, but that turned out to be entirely a safety precaution as there are quite a few hazards in the lagoon, and he made the "follow behind" rule fun very quickly. What's more, after stopping to snorkel w/ turtles for a bit, he took us out one of the channels into the open ocean just outside the reef and relaxed the "follow me" rule. Significant swells out there and otherworldly scenery with the waves breaking just inside of us. Unforgettable. We then played a little while at Ha'apiti (famous surf break), before heading back and snorkeling w/ sharks and rays. Awesome guide, amazing tour. Highly recommended!

  Truly an unforgettable journey around the island! Learned about the island, went beyond the reef and saw some Tahitian surfers, visited with some sea turtles, snorkeled with sharks and sting rays! A day we will never forget 🌸🏝️

  This was the best jet ski excursion that we've ever taken! So much fun! But I was advised that I wouldn't need my snorkel so I left it behind. Bad advice!! We stopped twice to snorkel and I didn't have mine!

  I booked this outing with MAC via "Shore Excursions Group" with pick up/return to the dock servicing Coral Princess passengers. Booking was easy and meet-up instructions clear. The center was only 5-10 minute drive from the pier. We signed releases, photo authorizations, received a life jacket, and met our guide/escorts, Tiki. Our group just had Tiki plus two jet skis. I was solo on mine. He briefed us on his hand signals, explained we would be averaging 40 (kph? Mph?), and equipment operation basics. I'd read a few articles the night before because this was all new to me! And...it was pretty easy to get the hang of basic handling. I was a turtle (slower/hesitant) the first 30 minutes or so. The other guests were experienced. Tiki took us out beyond a reef (so it seemed to me) and into ocean waves so the other couple could cut loose. Closer to land there are so many things you need to avoid hitting above and below the waterline. Scenery--stunning! We went inside Cook's Harbor and turned off the engines. Then Tiki told us about each of the main mountains in sight. I had a moment of awe at being exactly where Cook had been centuries ago looking at the same mountains. Bottom lines: Sealife spotted--abundant (dolphins, greenback turtles, birds, rays, sharks, and oodles of other types of fish. Colors of the water and clarity--amazing. Respect for nature plus overall safety--excellent. Helpful and caring guide--100%. He took dozens of photos along the way, including me touching rays and sharks swimming past within arms reach. (No additional charge!) We got into the water three different spots to snorkel. I had an outstanding time and just needed to be way more diligent about applying reef-safe sunscreen. I'm lobster-colored now but that's on me! All the staff (drivers, registration desk, and guides were friendly and helpful.) Well-maintained waterfront facility with comfy seating, shade, loos, etc.

  Guide (Hotu) was great. Everything was wonderful until a storm rolled in and then it got hairy (probably should have skipped the last snorkel site to return before the storm). Amazing adventure.
