Our tour guide, Edith, gave us a wonderful Jewish Heritage tour. She was so very friendly and knowledgeable and helped us really understand the plight of the Jewish people during the reign of Hitler. The tour is 3 hours and you should be ready to walk. I highly recommend Edith for any tour of the Jewish area of Budapest.

We had a great time on this tour. Edith was an excellent guide, after we met, we got tickets for the subway to the shoes on the Danube memorial. She showed us how our transit ticket could be used for bus and tram also which we used later in the day on our own. We also went to several other memorials and finally to the Dohány street synagogue where she gave a great explanation of everything. Highly recommend this tour.

Edith was a remarkable guide of the Jewish Quarter and Synagogue during my visit to Budapest. Her English was excellent and she was very knowledgeable about all the historical facts. I had the pleasure of being the only participant that particular day and so it was a very meaningful experience for me. It was a great pleasure meeting her and would highly recommend this tour!

This Jewish Heritage tour in Budapest was outstanding in every way. We were seven people and Edith structured the tour around our interests. It was exceptionally well organized, deeply educational, and presented with great sensitivity and respect for Jewish history and memory. Edith combined historical knowledge with personal stories, making the experience not only informative but truly moving. We came away with a much deeper understanding of Hungarian Jewish life, especially during the Holocaust, and felt both inspired and emotionally touched. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a meaningful and memorable Jewish heritage experience.

Our tour with Edith was outstanding! Unfortunately, we arrived on Simchat Torah so we could not go inside the Doheny Synagogue but Edith found a way to create a terrific tour through her words and with pictures while ambling around the Jewish neighborhoods. She is smart and insightful and full of knowledge. She was a delight to spend time with and I would recommend her highly!
