5.00Had a wonderful experience with Ahmet for our first trip to Holland. Our ship docked in Jmuiden and we wanted a more personal tour for the day that the ship didn't offer. It was just the four of us. Ahmet was prompt picking us up from the dock. He offered us bottles of water. It was very appreciated on such a hot day. My mother really wanted to see the windmills, the wooden shoes, and to visit the Rijksmuseum and Ahmet made all those things happen. He was very good with keeping us on schedule and letting us know how much time we had at each stop. If we didn't want to stay in an area for an extended amount of time we just went back to the van. At the Simonehoeve Cheese shop Ahmet arranged for an English speaking tour of the cheese shop and wooden shoe workshop where they let us keep the sample he made and had a windmill and date inscribed on it for us to take home. The cheeses were phenomenal. We sampled several and took home some of the ones we liked the best. This ended up unexpectedly being one of my favorite stops of the trip. We arrived in Amsterdam just in time for the time slots we booked for the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. We had time for a quick stop and see the Anne Frank house and get some photos from the curb. On the way back we swung by the red light district which was not at all as I had pictured in my head. The girls looked quite bored. We arrived back at the port on time. It was a wonderful day with Ahmet.

5.00Hejan arrived early to pick us up at the port for a quick day around Amsterdam. Thanks to Hejan, I booked our Van Gogh museum tickets in advance, and Rijksmuseum too…the Van Gogh museum had sold out. First he took us to a beautiful spot to learn about historic windmills and village life. He noticed my 83 year old mother in law struggled getting in and out of the car and when we got back, he had a little step stool for her and was always very gracious to help her in and out. He was always in perfect time to pick us up and had waters for us all. He works for his uncle in a family business. The car is very clean and he is extremely thoughtful and punctual.

5.00Our driver Faruk was very professional. We were a group of 17 adults aboard the cruise ship and he showed up at the port on time. We asked him to take us to places that were not even part of itinerary. We were very happy that he accommodated our request. He is very fluent in English and has good sense of humor. We enjoyed our tour and the ride was fun and he is a safe driver. He even surprised us with treats for all 17 of us to enjoy and definitely remind us of Netherlands. He definitely exceeded our expectations and will certainly use him again in our future visit.

5.00Outstanding day from beginning to end! Timely and easy pick up. Communication was clear and frequent. HeJan was professional and so pleasant. Attentive to any needs or questions. Vehicle was comfortable and clean. The right amount of time at each stop. Fabulous lunch choice provided to us. Can’t say enough about Hejan and our day! Could not say enough positive about this day!
