• Great Pirate Ship Adventure For the Children

  We took our two granddaughters, aged 7 and 10, out on the Jolly Roger pirate ship. The crew put on a continuous supply of entertainment for the children which kept them fully engaged throughout the trip. The crew obviously put a lot of effort into creating fun for the youngsters on board, through games, competitions, dancing, singing, magician and face-painting, all of which took place in the shade. The crew’s level of engagement with the children was impressive. At the same time, I was impressed by their attention to child safety as the kids moved around the ship.On top of this, there was plentiful good food and a chance for a dip in the sea. We also took advantage of a super fast spin on the Dolphin Twister which drew up alongside.

  We have 2 boys - ages 7 & 8 - and this was a great experience for them. Captain Jack Pigeon, Pirate Patty, the acrobats and the magician ensured that there was never a moment without entertainment. I highly recommend this activity should your family's itinerary include Paphos, although walking the plank was a little too narrow for this dad! NB: my boys are probably in the 5 - 10 year old sweet spot for this program.

  What a day! Such a great boat trip for children! 🙌🏻❤️ However, my partner and I loved it just as much as our little girl did! From start to finish, it was fun, entertaining, well organised, and one of my holiday’s favourite memories! Matt was absolutely fabulous! • Good trip let down by issues with online booking and transfers

  We booked and paid for the trip in full via the Paphos Sea Cruises website three days before the trip. We also booked a transfer from a nearby hotel. We arrived at the nearby hotel at 9.55 in plenty of time for the 10.10 transfer pick-up (for 11am trip). At 10.30, the transfer hadn’t arrived for my family and another couple who were also waiting so I called the company. I initially spoke to a lady who knew very little so she took my details and promised a call back. A few minutes later, a received a call from another lady. This was a slightly chaotic call and filled me with little confidence. Our booking seemed to have been lost because it was online. The transfer coach did arrive for my family and the other couple at 10.40 but was empty suggesting it had been sent as a result of my call. When we arrived at the boat at 10.50, the lady at check-in also had no record of my booking but I was able to show the confirmation email and booking reference. I explained our experience to her and the captain who kindly arranged for us to have a free drink as an apology. We appreciated this gesture. Unfortunately, despite being at the pick-up point for our transfer 15 minutes early, we were one of the last to arrive at the boat so most seats were taken and we had to settle for sitting on the floor on plastic coated sunbed cushions for the four hour trip. I’m still not sure why we were not picked up on time and why our booking wasn’t picked up despite having paid over 150 euros to book the trip 3 days in advance. The trip itself was good - nice lunch and good entertainment although we missed most of it as we couldn’t sit where it was held. Hopefully the company will rectify the issues we experienced with our online booking and transfer being missed to avoid similar issues in the future.

  We went on the Jolly Roger Pirate Excursion. Entertainment is amazing, food is excellent and all crew were assisting and engaging with us for the whole day. Highly recommended.
