I booked Juneau Lighthouse Tours for a Whale Watching tour and the excursion was beautiful. The yacht was new, clean and comfortable. The Captain/driver/owner was very hospitable, polite and accommodating to my guests. He took us up close as possible to a school of whales who were exhibiting a good time among themselves. I hope to book him again in the future.

This was a fun excursion led by Tess, Coral, and Captain John as our guides. We were taken by boat to Sentinel Island, where we visited the lighthouse. It’s a small lighthouse, and I don’t recommend going up as there really is nothing to see at the top. There are informative posters in the main room, but it’s nicer to walk around outside and take photos. Tess even offered to take photos on her phone for free; after the tour, she shared the photos through a website that is only accessible through a private Fotaflo link. After the tour on the island, Captain John took us to an area where the whales were sighted. We were lucky and saw several different whales, including a mom and calf! They’re very quick to vanish back into the water and the boats can’t get too close, but it was still worth it. We went on the last day of the guaranteed whale sighting, and they delivered!

Yes… Corral, Nick and Dalton were very professional, funny and personal at the same time… all that young enthusiasm was contagious! It made for a blessed and exciting trip… plus we got to see whales, a calf, seals and Eagles…. A truly amazing day!

What a wonderful day we had on this tour! Hats off to Kathy, Tess, Coral, and our boat's pilot (sorry I forgot his name). The boat was comfortable, the sights were spectacular, and the enthusiasm of the crew was delightful and contagious. We visited a charming lighthouse before searching for whales. We were rewarded with sights of sea otters, eagles, and plenty of whales. Mother Nature spoiled us today! The crew was so friendly and knowledgeable and eager to share their information with us. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour.

Unique experience to be able to visit a historic lighthouse - part of the fee apparently goes towards the restoration. The view from the top of the lighthouse is not very spectacular but the history is interesting. Captain John along with Coral and Morgan were great and well informed. A lot of good information about humpback whales from the crew and more importantly a lot of whale sightings! Also saw sea lions camping out and a bald eagle capturing a seagull! The 7:30 am trip is worth waking up for since there tend to be less crowds ( and no kids for our tour). Liked how the boat had plenty of room! Very clean and equipped with 2 bathrooms on board.
