Climb up the lighthouse tower, inspect the beacon, and take a look across Lynn Canal. Conveniently, it is located in the middle of the best whale watching spots!

No trip is complete without the complementary stop at Brotherhood Bridge lookout for a spectacular view of the Mendenhall Glacier!

All vessels come equipped with two bathrooms, heated cabins, and binoculars.

What To Expect

Our tour includes: ~Round trip transportation to and from the pier ~3 hours of Whale Watching ~A short scenic boardwalk at Sentinel Island ~A tour of the Sentinel Lighthouse tower & inspect the beacon ~Take a look across the beautiful Lynn Canal Each tour ends with a stop at the Brotherhood Bridge viewpoint of the Mendenhall Glacier. • During your time on the boat, enjoy complimentary locally made Alaskan fudge, granola bars, caribou sausage sticks, coffee/tea and bottled water. • Duration - 4 hours and 15 minutes from pick up to drop off from downtown Juneau (3 on the water)

A Whale of a Time in Alaska!!

Amazing! A beautiful day in Juneau and we were fortunate to be on this excursion. The staff are very knowledgeable, kind, great energy and just fun to be with! Our boat was first class, brand new and spacious. Our Captain Dalton took pictures as we idled and watched Orca whales, Humpback whale, sea lions and eagles. The Humpback whale was known by the crew, a very happy returning visitor. We just had the best time, oh did I mention a snack and beverage was also provided, (hint, a piece of local fudge!) A solid 3 hour journey on the water, with easy transportation to the boat and returning back to our dock. The Sentinel Lighthouse is a wonderful part of Juneau’s history, surrounded by magnificent views and a walking trail. We recommend this excursion company 100%, and thank you!

This was the BEST excursion I have done. The team, Dalton (Captain), Hannah and Anika were fantastic. I felt safe in the water and we saw all kinds of wildlife, including whales. All in all a fantastic trip!!! I would do it again and would highly recommend to others.

This was our second time taking this same tour with this company. Last time was almost exactly 3 years ago, when we had the best time so we were worried our hopes might be too high for the second time around. This second trip was somehow even better!!! The company has grown and the progress on the lighthouse restoration was amazing. We saw so many whales, and also saw a haul out of sea lions and got to hear them moaning and groaning. The naturalists on board, Kaelyn and Tess, were both very informative and also very excited about everything we saw which made it much more fun. Captain Dalton was great, and gave us a very comfortable smooth ride to and from the lighthouse and all around to find wildlife. The boats this company uses are truly the best! Very clean, comfortable seating indoors, nice restrooms. We were so excited to find out that the crew would be taking photos throughout the tour and uploading them to a website where we can access and download them for free. It made it so nice to be able to enjoy watching the wildlife without worrying about taking photos or videos ourselves!! The quality of the crew’s photos on nice cameras far exceeded anything I could have taken myself. Also, from the fluke photos, they identified one of the humpbacks we encountered as Magma! Next time we’re in Juneau we’ll be booking this same tour again. This time we booked through TripAdvisor, but last time we booked through our cruise line. You can’t go wrong with this company. Very organized pickup at the cruise terminal, and the bus ride with driver Corky to and from the boat was smooth and interesting too. Thank you everyone!

Captain B and the two wonderful assistants really provided a wonderful, experience watching whales and seal lions. A memory never to be forgotten. Great boat loads of knowledge and just fun people to be with for a few hours.

We brought binoculars, but we got close enough that we didn't need them to see the whales. We had amazing views, and the captain and guides were incredible.

Fantastic excursion, fun and very educational. We saw several okra whales, humpback whales, sea lions, and two eagles. In addition of course, the beautiful snow capped mountains and two glaciers. Dale was so knowledgeable and entertaining- we loved him! All the crew were great!
