Enjoy a 25 minute panoramic scenic flight, with stunning scenic views of the Seaward Kaikoura ranges and a birds eye view of the Kaikoura Peninsula. After take-off, we will climb to approximately 6000 feet to fly past the back of Mount Fyffe for some true mountain flying. Experience views of snowy mountain peaks, a waterfalls or a wild deer if you have sharp vision.

Next, overfly Lake Hapuku, which is a direct result of the 2016 Kaikoura earthquake. Your pilot will then descend towards the Hapuku river mouth and fly along the black sand beach towards the Kaikoura peninsula. Flying around the peninsula, you get to see that it is dotted with resident seals next to the turquoise ocean.

Absolutely amazing experience! We loved everything about it and would highly recommend it. It was amazing to see the mountains up close and then to see the rugged coast line as well. Our pilot was awesome and couldn't have been more accommodating and skilled if he tried 😊 we will be back!

Great operation, and very reasonable priced. We were able to see the coast from the air. Even though it was cloudy it was still worth it. The were even nice enough to take us back to the ship tender area after our flight. Thanks Rob and Eileen

Jake was very welcoming...we were lucky enough to get our own private flight in a Cessna as were the only 2 booked on the morning flight. It was terrific, the views were incredible and Jake gave a great commentary. We even saw a whale briefly as we moved up the coastal road before flying near to the snow capped peaks. It was worth every penny. I booked using the winter offer, combining the flight with a whale watch boat tour. Great value at $165 for both.

Staff were super helpful. We booked the scenic flight thinking it was a whale watching flight, however, the staff were able to catch a view of whales over the pennisula for us. It was an incredible experience. Kaikoura is stunning. Would highly reccomend.
