Kairouan
Great Mosque of Kairouan: Guided tour of this historic building, the oldest in the Maghreb. Sidi Sahbi Mausoleum: Explore this holy site adorned with colorful ceramics and finely crafted stucco. Aghlabid Basins: Observe the ingenious water management system dating back to the 9th century. Medina and Cultural Immersion Walk through the narrow streets of the medina. Stop at a local pastry artisan to taste Makroudh, the regional specialty. Journey to the Berber village of Kesra (the highest village in Tunisia). Scenic walk: Climb the stone steps up to the natural water springs.
