Kalbarri’s ocean is full of some of the world’s most premium wild-caught seafood.

Let us take you out to experience catching our world famous Western Rocklobster!

Learn about the local Rock Lobster Industry with a real-life insight into how this renowned crustacean is caught, graded and enjoyed. After boarding the boat at the Kalbarri Marina, you venture out through the river mouth & into the ocean. From here you will view the coastal town of Kalbarri from a very different perspective.

We pull our lobster pots, re-bait, then re-set them back into the ocean- keeping the prize catch where we return to the marina & you have the option to take some Rock Lobster with you!

We have the capacity to pull up to 12 lobster pots so tour times vary between 1-2 hours depending on the catch rate.

Need to cater to those who have hearing aids or hearing problems since wear hearing aids and very monotone and fast paced talk so hard time hearing and also maybe a coffee and a biscuit since it’s a early morning trip Just have a instant coffee or something to drink and a small snack

The activity was cancelled as not enough numbers. Aydan kept me informed in the prior 2 days that this was likely which was good. Did the whale watching tour instead.

Don’t take bananas on board 😬 bad luck. First time experience. The captain was very informative, giving information throughout the trip. Passengers got to share the catch and given instructions on how to cook them.

Aydan and Sam were spectacular hosts! Knowledgeable, friendly and the lobsters were a bonus. This was our second trip with them in 4 years and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommend, 😊 👍👌

We had a beautiful sunrise travelling out to the pots, saw sharks close up, learnt about crayfish potting and saw whales along the way. To top it off we took home 4 crayfish. They were delicious. The guys running the tour provided lots of info about crayfishing.

What a great experience! Lots of interesting information about lobster fishing, fantastic view of a gorgeous sunrise was an added bonus, we saw whales, sharks dolphins, the captain Ayden & his deck hand were great, very professional & we got to take some lobsters home, the boat is well maintained & very clean, one of the best tours we’ve done

Bev and I (Lawrie) would like to say this experience was a highlight of our trip around Australia so far we have seen some incredible sights however sunrise this morning out in front of the Murchison River was spectacular. Ayden and team are very professional and have a thorough knowledge of the area and experts in their field. Thank you for great trip onboard Reefwalker Ocean Discovery Bev and Lawrie Qld.
