Athula is such a kind, knowledgeable, friendly and respectful man. We have hired him to tour our whole family around for few days and saw so many amazing sites you would normally not experience. His equipment is clean and in great working order. If you come to Kandy area he is a must use.

The best guide in Kandy and the surrounding area. Nothing was ever a problem for him—he could arrange tuk-tuks, taxis, food, and perfect accommodation. He took us to amazing places. He is a wonderful person with a kind heart; not only our children loved him.

I don't even know where to start. I am so grateful... Athula was a gift from the universe for me. I had two of the best days of my life thanks to and with him. He's an excellent guide and driver, but above all a wonderful person. I spent two days between Kandy and Dambulla, and he allowed me to see everything I had dreamt of seeing. He's so funny and his laugh is contagious! He has strong values and his heart is simply pure. Many times during my tour I cried out of gratitude. I'm so happy he came with me to the Safari and to Pidurangala, we have nice memories together! And I have to say, he helped me in many ways with some trouble I had. He even brought snakes for me 🥹 I know I found a friend. He's the best person you can choose, and I hope you're lucky enough to spend even more days with him than I did. I wish you all the best, and thank you again for everything. Oh, and he's also such a great photographer!!

We met Atula at Kandy railway station by chance and we think we must have been the lucky ones. We spent two days with him as our tuk tuk driver and a guide. He took us to the usual attractions and accompanied us where he could and he guided us when he couldn't. He was frank and honest when visiting the craft shops and jewellery shops in disclosing the fact the he would get a kickback from the owners of the store if we made a purchase. Other then being extremely knowledgeable, he was always thinking of ways to make our visit enjoyable, and cost effective. We both loved his company and maybe we might meet him again for his services. Real top guy.

We had an absolutely brilliant day exploring Kandy with our driver and guide, Athula. From the moment we started, he was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The tuk-tuk was a fun way to see the city. He explained so many things about the local culture, history, and the sights we visited—we learned more in a few hours than we expected! He was patient, answered all our questions, and was very flexible, making sure we saw everything we wanted at our own pace. It felt less like a tour and more like being shown around by a friendly local.

Athula arranged for my wife and I to take a terrific trip to Pidurangula Rock, where we could face the sunset. Along the way, there were many interesting stops, such as a garden of medicinal herbs and a meeting with elephants. During the trip, Athula told us many interesting things about Sri Lanka, religions, temples and sights. Athula has wonderful English. It was very interesting!

We (Group of 4) had an amazing Kandy–Nuwara Eliya–Kandy day tour! The trip was well-planned with plenty of scenic stopovers for sightseeing and photo spots. Every place we visited was beautiful and worth the stop. Our driver, Mr. Athula (Best Guide Lanka) was excellent—very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the best routes and local attractions. The ride was comfortable throughout, and we truly enjoyed every moment of the journey. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a smooth and memorable hill country experience!

Athula is an exceptional guide! He is very friendly and attentive, willing to help you in any way possible. In our case, it was our driver from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya and was the best possible choice! Apart from his amazing driving, he made several stops along the way to see waterfalls, tea factories, viewpoints in even a spice garden, always accompanying us and helping us at all times. In addition, throughout the whole way he gave us a very pleasant conversation, explaining both cultural aspects of the country and solving all our doubts or questions. Without a doubt your best guide and driver in Kandy!
