On the way to Kazbegi, we stop at the picturesque Zhinvali Water Reservoir, and then visit the Ananuri Castle on the Aragvi River. The castle was the scene of numerous battles and served as a shelter for the local population during the wars. Ananuri is considered one of the most beautiful historical monuments of Georgia.
At an altitude of 2200 meters above the sea level, on the southern side of the plateau of the Greater Caucasus Range, and near the Cross Pass, there is the Gudauri Ski resort.
The Panorama Gudauri is a monument to celebrate the friendship between Georgia and Russia.
Stepantsminda is a small town. The main attraction here is the Church of the Holy Trinity – the Gergeti Monastery that is located at an altitude of 2170 meters under the mountain pick of Kazbegi. Due to its location on the top of a steep mountain, surrounded by very harsh nature, the church became the symbol of preservation of the Georgian relics.

Recently, we traveled to Kazbegi, and we really enjoyed the trip. Everything was organized very comfortably, and we were able to see many beautiful and impressive places that left us with the best impressions. A special thank you goes to our guide David — he was always available, helped with any questions, handled any situations that came up, and shared very interesting stories about the places we visited. Thanks to him, the trip became even more memorable.

It was great! Our guide Mariam was lovely. The food at the restaurant was gorgeous. The mountains were stunning. Unfortunately we couldn't go to Kazbegi as it had been very snowy and so we stayed at Gudauri ski resort. I 100% wish I had taken the chance to rent ski stuff as we had up yo 2.5 hours there and could have had a little try! The snow was a foot deep in places. Wish I'd worn my bigger boots lol

A very nice and affordable experience in general. Amazing views, places, and historical facts from the tourist guide. The trip lasted around 11 hours in total, including a 2-3 hour drive back. There was around 10 of us in the van. One problem: the restaurant they're partnered with uses stickers on their menu to manually write hidden service fees, which is illegal. Avoid it.

We rode with a guide - Timur. The weather was very lucky, sunny and warm. I really enjoyed the tour. The guide tells interesting facts from history. Kazbegi was visible in all its glory. Very beautiful scenery all over the road. It's worth visiting.

This tour was booked via bookings.com. The guide (George) was very professional, knowledgeable and patient. This can be an extremely long day but the time past quickly as we saw incredible sites, made great friends and learned a lot about the region. Highly recommend the parasailing option. Amazing and well worth the money. Very well run tour.

This tour is not easy for the family with a child of 4,5 years old, but our guide Timur did his best to make it easier for us, thanks to him. The views are really incredible, but the whole trip is a bit tiresome.
