Lake Kaindy

In the morning, we depart from Almaty. The drive to Saty village takes about 4 hours, with one or two stops along the way — at a gas station and, if needed, a shop. We recommend bringing a light snack. Upon arrival in Saty, we transfer to local transport (UAZ or PAZ) for a 30-minute ride to the lower Kaindy Lake parking. From there, we continue on foot to Kaindy Lake. You’ll have around 40 minutes to enjoy the views and take photos. Afterward, we return to Saty by the same route for lunch at a guesthouse. Following lunch, we head to Kolsai Lake.

Kolsai Lake

After lunch, we will head to the beautiful Kolsai Lake. The drive takes about 20–30 minutes through scenic mountain roads. Upon arrival, you will have free time to walk along the lakeshore, take stunning photos, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Kolsai is one of the most famous lakes in Kazakhstan — a peaceful and relaxing place, perfect for enjoying the natural beauty and calm atmosphere. After spending time at the lake, we will return to the village of Saty. In the evening, a warm and delicious dinner will be waiting for us at the local guesthouse, where you can rest and share impressions from the day.

Charyn Canyon

In the morning, after breakfast at the guesthouse in Saty village, we begin your journey to the beautiful Black Canyon. The drive takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, we’ll stop at a scenic viewpoint for 15–30 minutes to enjoy the view and take memorable photos. After that, we continue your trip to the famous Charyn Canyon — the drive takes around 40 minutes. At Charyn Canyon, you’ll have up to 2 hours to explore, walk around, take stunning photos, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this natural wonder. On the way back, we’ll make a short stop at a gas station, where you can buy coffee or snacks for the road. Then we head back to Almaty, full of great memories from the day.
