First, we will visit Big Almaty Lake, which is about a 1 hour drive from Almaty City. On the way to the lake, you will observe the beautiful mountains, crowded pine trees, and landscape. Big Almaty Lake is a natural alpine reservoir. It is located in the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains, 15 km south of the center of Almaty in Kazakhstan. The lake is 2511 meters above sea level.
Next, our journey takes us to the Alamty apple garden. Aport is one of the most important symbols of Almaty, the cultural capital of Kazakhstan. The city of Almaty is always associated with a large red apple. A special variety of apple called "aport", grown in Almaty at the foot of the Tien Shan Mountains and the surrounding forests, is one of the symbols of the city.

What To Expect
Big Almaty Lake
First, we will visit Big Almaty Lake, which is about a 1 hour drive from Almaty City. On the way to the lake, you will observe the beautiful mountains, crowded pine trees, and landscape. Upon arriving at The Big Almaty Lake, you will wonder how it was formed as a Big Lake on the top of the mountain hundreds of years ago. Big Almaty Lake is a natural alpine reservoir. It is located in the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains, 15 km south of the center of Almaty in Kazakhstan. The lake is 2511 meters above sea level. During the exploration of the lake, everyone would easily notice the color of the lake change according to the intensity of sunlight from light blue to heavy dark.
Next, our journey takes us to the Alamty apple garden. Aport is one of the most important symbols of Almaty, the cultural capital of Kazakhstan. 5.00We had such an amazing time visiting with Adam. The departure was on time as well as the arrival at the Al Ateu National Park check post. The vehicle was spacious and the guide was very helpful and fun guy. When we arrived at the lake it was all foggy and it had just started to snow. All of the tourists had given up hope but Adam told us to be patient and it was all worth the wait. The most pristine views with freezing conditions. Really, i awe of the place. Thank you Adam for such a good tour. Much Love and Regards. 🙏🏻❤️

5.00This is the best way to end your Kazakhstan trip. Seeing snow capped mountains and torquise waters of Almaty Lake is breathing. It is a Europe of Asia. Booked my second tour at Panda Travel and they never disappoint. Our tour guide, Adam was very accommodating. Gave us enough time to take pics as 10 shots of pictures is not enough for the beauty of the place. Lol. This is an experience that I cannot forget. Keep up the good work Panda Travel!
