Camlik Locomotive Museum
TRAİN MUSEUM ÇAMLIK 30 MİNUTES The perfect museum to spend time with the family, especially with children. The museum is located on the old part of the İzmir-Aydın Railway line, the oldest railway line in Türkiye, near the Çamlık neighborhood. The museum is very close to the famous Ancient City of Ephesus. While the railway line from İzmir to Aydın was reorganized, part of the railway and Çamlık Railway Station were closed for use. The closed station area was used for the museum. The preparation of the museum started in 1991 and was completed in 1997. The original railway line, built in 1866, was used for the museum. The land, buildings, and locomotive collections are fully owned by TCDD 8 the State Railways of the Republic of Türkiye), Çamlık Railway Station.

This tour was absolutely fantastic, and our guide Denizcan made it even better! He was so knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fun facts about the Train Museum and Magnesia. This was one of the best tours I’ve been on! Denizcan was a fantastic guide, always so friendly and helpful. The Train Museum was so interesting, and Magnesia was a real hidden gem. After the Turkish bath, I felt like a whole new person. A must-do if you’re in Kusadasi!

From start to finish, this tour was fantastic! Denizcan did a great job explaining the history of Magnesia, and the Train Museum was a fun stop.
