Along the way, they’ll walk through narrow passages, admire unique rock formations, and cool off with a refreshing swim in this hidden natural gem.

Cañón de la Vieja Adventure & Relax Experience The adventure continues at Cañón de la Vieja, where travelers enjoy an exciting zipline experience flying over the Colorado River Canyon with panoramic rainforest views. After the adrenaline rush, they’ll savor a traditional Costa Rican buffet lunch, followed by pure relaxation in volcanic hot springs and therapeutic mud baths, the perfect way to unwind after an active day.

5.00We had an absolutely incredible experience on our tour, and so much of that is thanks to our amazing guide, Pablo! From the moment we started, his energy, knowledge, and genuine passion made the entire day unforgettable. They were also super attentive, making sure everyone in the group felt included, comfortable, and engaged. He stopped to show us animals on the road, took us to the grocery store, and to gift shops and restaurants. If you’re considering Costa Rica, do yourself a favor and book this tour company.

5.00We had the BEST day with Manuel on our full-day Costa Rica tour! He picked us up directly at our hotel and was warm, friendly, and accommodating from the start. We never felt rushed—he customized the day perfectly to what we wanted. Our itinerary included a beautiful waterfall, a delicious lunch at a local spot he specially chose for us, plenty of snacks, zip lining, and relaxing time at the hot springs before heading back. Every stop felt thoughtfully selected, and Manuel made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was the great conversation throughout the day—he shared so much about Costa Rica, its culture, and the places we were visiting. He created such a fun and comfortable atmosphere, and we truly enjoyed his company. If you're looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, attentive, fun, and genuinely cares about giving you a fantastic experience, Manuel is your person. We can’t recommend him enough!

5.00My husband and I went to Costa Rica to celebrate our 30th anniversary. I had never been before so I wanted to get in as much as I could in as short of time as possible. Our tour time was listed for 830 but Manuel picked us up at 7 AM. He had let us know beforehand that he would be coming to get us early and I’m glad he did. We were able to beat the crowds. La Leona was beautiful. We found the hike a bit rough but Manuel and our other guide were very helpful lending a hand to hold and helping us get our footing. I had purchased water sandals, but I would suggest wearing tennis shoes with good trade on the bottom that you don’t mind getting wet because you will be swimming. The zip lines were super fun and not scary. Like I thought we saw a beautiful scenery of the Colorado river. We had a lovely authentic lunch and then was able to relax in the hot springs we did not indulge in the mud bath because it was stinky. I definitely recommend taking this tour. It was truly an adventure we will never forget. Thank you, Manuel and pura vida.

5.00From the minute we landed in Costa Rica, we were greeted with a smile and hospitality. Manuel and his wife Laura were amazing. They were always gracious and accommodating. Whether we had a hiccup with our schedule or that we wanted to stop to get coffee or even just to stop in a grocery store to pick up basic items Manuel was always accommodating. From airport pick up on the day of arrival to airport drop off on the day we left, Laura and Manuel were professional and classy. We book an additional full day tour ‘on the fly’ and Manuel graciously changed his schedule around so that he could remain with us for an additional day. Even on the day Manuel dropped us off back at the airport to fly back home, he even sent us off with a special gift of the coffee we loved. Just an extra little touch to show that they care about developing a relationship with you and that they are just not the average ‘tour guides’. We will definitely call upon your team again for our next Costa Rican sojourn.
I could not recommend Pablo and his excursions more!

5.00This is not our first trip to Costa Rica, and Pablo(our tour guide) is one of the main reasons we came back to the same area. He’s such an amazing tour guide, and now someone we call a friend. He’s so efficient, personable, and ensures that your trip/excursion is everything that you want it to be! Also, this excursion allowed us to do many activities from adrenaline pumping to relaxation. It was a full day of memories that we’ll never forget😊

5.00Beautiful view of the waterfall after a moderate hike to get there! Make sure to wear tennis shoes & bring water shoes. The tubing was so fun, and the men who assisted were so helpful in making it go more smoothly! Finally, the volcanic spa was relaxing after such an active day so it was a nice way to finish it off! Pablo made sure we were on time for all of our events and is also so accommodating/friendly, as we have booked tours with him before and will again during our next vacation - highly recommend😊

5.00Pablo is a great guide! He is so warm and inviting! I always felt safe knowing he was there! The excision itself was incredible! From trekking the forest to rafting a river and ending with peace and quiet in the hot springs. 10/10 would recommend!!
