• Wonderful trip with Johns Tours

  Ren was our tour guide and he was fabulous. We were not rushed, he told us fabulous facts and stories. We loved this trip and especially the starfish but it was all fabulous. Ren definately deserves a bonus. All Johns TOurs have been perfect so far. Great value for money too.

  We booked a private tour of the north island with Klook and was assigned John Tours. We then got a text from Stella from John Tours that our booking specified a different pick up area and have to pay additional 300,000. I reasoned with Stella that as a tourist I am not sure of the region but Klook should have picked this up earlier instead of Stella informing us. Anyway this private tour allows us to pick 6 points of interest with only a car and driver - who cannot speak English. We later hired a tour guide and Khanh was his name. Very knowledgeable about Phu Quoc. We understand each other. His geograhical knowledge of Phu Quoc is commendable. He made some good recommendation of our itinerary. He is gentle, patient and helped me when we were doing the waterfall walk - keeping a lookout for me. At places of interest where admission fee is required, he would inform us first - almost apologetically. We left Starfish island around 445pm and there is the Bee Farm that we did not cover. Khanh said lets do the Bee Farm before going back to Radisson Blu. Our engagement with him is supposed to finish by 5pm. We declined his offer and we were dropped at our hotel by 530pm. A good tour guide's qualities are: friendly, caring, gentle, patience, helpful, resourceful and knowledge of his job scope. Wearing the John Tour white and blue tee, he represents the Company and he sure did a good job. Keep up the good work Khanh and I wish you all the best this season.

  I loved the excursion, I found it fun, combining activities of different kinds. Ren is an excellent guide, very funny, with very good level of English, paying attention to everyone. Highly recommended.

  Super nice tour, the best experience in Phu Quoc island. Tee the tour guide was very kind, welcoming, smiling and very professionally took care of everything. The highlight was the starfish beach. Highly recommended tour!

  I had such a fun day with my friends on the Land Tour 2! We loved exploring the north of Phu Quoc, especially kayaking and visiting Starfish Beach. The water was so clear and the beach was beautiful. Our guide was friendly and made everything easy for us. Even though lunch wasn’t included, we didn’t mind at all. It was a great trip and I would definitely recommend it!

  First program item Kayaking. We were taken to a kayak rental at a river where nothing is going on. In the boats, I was sitting on a broken water drain of the boat, big movie theater! A kilometer into the full headwind, left and right wild growth, nothing to look at, no animals or beautiful nature, maybe crystal clear water, nothing - completely pointless! Turned, let drift back, thanks for nothing! Then 20 minutes bus ride to the national park. I put on extra hiking boots, off into the woods, following the tramp ride. The guide in front, here a mushroom, there a centipede, a redwood similar - after 20 minutes the sign to turn around! Huh? No waterfall, no cave, spectacular flora or fauna - misrepresentation, nothing, nada! Why did we go here??? The bee farm was cancelled at short notice, closed on Wednesdays - don't you know before!? Last item of the program Starfish Beach. Guide Senna already said yesterday rain, today wind, 2 of 3 beaches closed with the red asterisks, the water will not be particularly clear. So it was, the little sea creatures only recognizable from close up! Some of the simple-minded tourists don’t seem to listen, take the stars from their element and drape them on the beach for the photo... Can’t think of anything too! Short snack, off you go, that’s it! You don't have to do it!

  Our tour guide was really nice, really lovely. We enjoyed that trip so much. Lunch was perfect, so many options! We were a really small group so it was super cool! Unfortunately one of the woman was really disrestpectful and ughh she was kinda ruining that moment, but everyone around her was really understandtable so we were really impressed!
