Panorama Langkawi is located on the southwest coast of Langkawi island. The cable car ride will bring you all the way up to about 708 meters above sea level. This journey covers a total distance of 2.2 km linking the Base Station at the foothill of Machinchang mountain to Top Station at the mountain summit & to the SkyBridge.
SkyCab is located at the oldest part of South East Asia and the first to emerge from the ancient sea and estuary! That’s something to give a goose bump if you can get the gist. Come and experience it yourself.

What To Expect
SkyCab: An intermediate cable car station on the eastern ridges provides the much desired access to the eastern cliffs with its 3 vertical chimneys and the beautiful 360-degree views. The journey from the Base Station to Middle Station will cover 1,700 meters in distance and upon reaching the Middle Station at an elevation of 650m above sea level, visitors will be able to alight and walk up to the viewing platforms. Visitors will enjoy panoramic view of the main island as well as the many surrounding islands. Visitors also be able to observe at a close range the unique flora on the ridges and the forested valley between the Middle Station and the Top Station. Skyrex: SkyRex provides a dynamic and totally immersive experience that takes sensory and physical simulation to a whole new level. 4.00Sky Cab Langkawi offers breathtaking views, particularly if you visit early in the morning before the crowds arrive. The ride is smooth, and the panoramic vistas of Langkawi’s lush landscapes make it well worth the trip. However, our experience was marred by a lack of attentiveness from the staff. When we boarded the cable car at the top to head back down, the staff failed to check our tickets while we waited for the cab. As we were about to board, they questioned whether we had the correct ticket for the 360-degree cab, despite having the right one. This confusion was frustrating, especially since the 360-degree cab only arrives approximately every 20 minutes, and we had already waited for quite a while. The issue could have been easily avoided with better customer service.

5.00Very good organized, even when there is a lot of people. The ride and the views are beautiful, very worth visiting. Prepare for a very hot weather.

5.00The ticketing booth is a 5mins walk from the carpark. As we are walking towards the ticketing booth. We will sure pass through the oriental village. Oriental village are made up of shops selling chocolates, beach wear, souvenirs shops and etc… The ticket cost RM85 for entry to Skycable, Sky Dome(3D show), Skyrex(4d show) and the 3D museum. The journey up the mountain via the skycable was breathtaking n we could not stop taking photos. There is a stop at mid hill where we exist to walk around n take photograph. After which we continue our journey up to the mountain top. When we reached the top, you can either choose to walk (324 steps) to the Skybridge or pay RM2 to take the skyglide. There is only one skyglide cabin going up and down the hill. The scenery on the Skybridge is spectacular. We can see the ongoing construction of the eagle nest skywalk. It will be the next big thing on this mountain. All in all, we enjoyed the trip up there. My teens children were not interested in the 3/4D show and the dome so we left upon descending from the mountain.
