Were the sky not blue in Lanzarote, you'd think you were on the Moon or Mars. They're both a bit far away but Lanzarote is just 30 minutes by boat from Fuerteventura, which is a short time to travel for an otherworldly experience. You'll visit Timanfaya National Park, El Golfo and a winery – all in one day.
After an early pick-up, we'll go to the port to board the ferry to Playa Blanca. The action starts straight away with a visit to Timanfaya National Park, which is home to a third of the island's 100 volcanoes. Admire eerie landscapes of fantastic forms in shades maroon, red, grey and black. You'll also be treated to a few party tricks courtesy of the geothermic earth below you.
On the park's coastal edge, head to El Golfo to see the green lagoon at the back of a black beach and the nearby Hervideros cliffs. They were formed by molten lava pouring into the sea. There's a stop to learn all about the benefits of aloe vera. Rounding off the day is a wine tasting in La Geria.

Not recommended for people with reduced mobility or walking problems. I would have liked to have a clear program of the progress of the visit because a lot of important information is missing such as for example on lunch but not only. The boat crossing went as well. Very nice exit anyway. The lady who spoke Italian is very good and gave a multitude of interesting information. To those who suffer from vertigo: close your eyes:-)) I recommend without hesitation this outing that I would gladly do again.

Brilliant trip combining natural beauty, retail therapy, and geographic experiments. The volcanic stop was a fascinating and hot insight into the formation of these islands. The winery stop and buffet lunch were welcome, and the aloe vera museum was interesting and likely to separate you from a few euros in exchange for some lovely souvenirs. The final stop at the Green lagoon was breathtaking and a fitting end to a spectacular tour. Hats off to Helga and her team, whose multiple language commentary enhanced the day. Highly recommend.

Very organized and very intense tour. Despite the fast pace, we saw everything right. The guides speak English, Spanish, German and Italian.

Very well organised. Fantastic tour of the national park and volcanoes. Informative and very enjoyable watching the experiments. Additional visits to wine tasting and aloe museum were included and interesting. Highly recommend this excursion.

Truly awful!! The volcano park is worth a visit but I’d advise you not to go on this trip. It’s a tourist trap at its worst. I’d booked it because I thought you had 3 hours at the volcano park to properly view the landscape. The reality was that you got 20 minutes of demonstrations before you were put back on the bus and driven around. This meant that you could only view the scenery from one side of the coach while classical music was played at high volume. There was then a 10 minute wine tasting, a stop for lunch at an awful cafe, (the one next to the wine tasting place looked lovely but presumably not enough commission to stop there?), and then half an hour at an “Aloe Vera” museum which was reasonably interesting. Final stop was 20 minutes at the “green lake” which was actually brown that day? It felt as if you were herded from one place to another and I regret wasting a day of my holiday on this. My advice would be to see the volcanos another way.

We took a day trip from Calete de Fueste to Lanzarote to see the volcanic national park. It didn’t disappoint. Not only did we experience the wonder of the volcanic activity in the area, we also learned about the production of aloe Vera products and were able to taste some local wine. It was a wonderful day!

The trip was bit too short. The guide didn’t give much information on the history of the island. The wine tasting is a joke - we got just a few drops of one type of wine. I wouldn’t book this excursion again. The best part was certainly the mind blowing views of Lanzarote.

Initially, a guided tour planned in English and on site, we had a French-speaking guide... Very well organized circuit, magnificent landscape...
