Delve deep into the wilds of Lapland on this 2-hour reindeer safari from Rovaniemi. Climb into your sled with a guide, then charge off into the snowy forests as the reindeer take the lead. During your sled ride (1,5 km), admire panoramic views over the Lapland countryside and listen to the rhythmic sounds of the reindeers’ hooves in the snow. What To Expect
Rovaniemi
You have a unique opportunity to learn about reindeer and their life. Tourists pass an exam on riding a reindeer sled and even receive a special “driving license” without any age restrictions or doping control. Have a seat in the sled and you are off! Getting cold? You can warm yourselves around a bonfire in a hut and enjoy a cup of hot juice. In a traditional Lapp hut, you will be “baptized” in accordance with all the Northern rules.

2.00Very short reindeer ride,about 15 minutes. In December from 3pm, through a dark forest. Reindeer feeding only on the fence. Far too expensive for what's on offer. The promise was 30 minutes.

2.00We got a refund as raindeer trip was shorter then agreed and we were informed about it in advance. Do not recommend trips at night like our which started at 1600. Route is through forest and you bearlly see raindeer infront of your sleigh. Feeding reindeers over a fence is fine and those are wonderful animals but there are farms were you can do it directly with no fence. Information meeting at the end was very informative but we got literally one small pice of cake per person. Generaly we are promised to get refound so we should be happy but to be honest Im not as I'd prefer to get what I paid for and in a way how it was advertised.
A must do in Rovaniemi!

5.00This was a wonderful experience on a real working reindeer farm. Our driver Alex was great, knowledgeable about Rovaniemi and provided us with some facts about the reindeer in general. Our tour guide on the farm was wonderful, gave us plenty of time of ask questions and provided us with a lot of information. The location was perfect. The setting for the reindeer safari was picturesque, out in the snowy woods- no one else around and you were on a 15-20 minute ride. Well worth the price and would highly recommend for families and groups alike. Thank you!!

5.00It was fun learning about reindeers and the farmers. I enjoyed the sleigh ride while watching the reindeer’s butt (and the little black “truffles” that came out of it 😂😂😂) and just looking at the snow covered surroundings. Then a bit later our reindeer peed and the guide said “change oil” 😂

5.00My partner and I loved this trip. The ride itself is about 15 minutes but you get to see/feed the reindeer and then go back to sit by the fire to warm up with hot drinks and biscuits and learn about the reindeer.

5.00The scenery and safari through the forest was so peaceful and serene. It was a long enough ride before we spent time feeding these beautiful animals. It was an amazing experience.
