We meet you at the Port Chalmers Cruise Ship Terminal for the
'Larnach Castle & Dunedin City Highlights Tour'
Stops include:

After the 'City Highlights Tour' we drop you off at the Octagon in the City Centre. You will have 1 hour of free time for lunch & shopping. Meridian Shopping Mall is 2 blocks away with a Food Court.
After lunch we depart on the journey up to the Castle. We take in the magnificent views of the peninsula and make a quick stop at a lookout for a great photo opportunity.
On arrival we take you on a guided tour of the Castle with time afterwards to do some of your own exploring or check out the award-winning gardens. You also have the option to visit the Ballroom Cafe for refreshments.
($48 NZD Larnach Castle/Gardens entry fee is included in our tour price)

The owner/operator/guide Tim was so knowledgeable of the area and make the experience of seeing the sites truly remarkable. His passion for his work is evident and he made every guest feel really welcome. He picks up and drops off at the cruise ship terminal making the whole experience seamless, relaxing and pleasurable. 5.00This was an excellent tour. Tim was an amazing guide, giving us lots of details about the town of Dunedin and the buildings during our tour round. At the castle, he gave us the very interesting history of the Larnach family and lots of information about the building of the castle. We were never rushed at any of the stops we made. We would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dunedin.

5.00The 6 h passed very quickly . The tour was interesting, although the 1 h downtown would not be necessary. The guide has also explained everything very well for not so good English speakers/above and answered inquiries understandably. .

5.00Was a great way to see the sights of Dunedin in the morning and then spent a few hours touring Larnach Castle and surrounding gardens. Tim was a great tour guide with lots of local knowledge and also helped that he was also a Tour Guide at the Larnach Castle and a fountain of knowledge when it came to the history of the Larnach family.
