From the initial booking and to the very end of our tour and back at airport, it was a professional, friendly and amazing experience. Communication with Giang the owner/founder of Maiko Tours was exceptional. Our tour guide on the day, Tan Le (David), was next level professional, informative and knowledgeable imparting so much on Vietnam’s history, culture and day to day life. The tour itself packed so much of HCM City and Saigon city centre’s famous and interesting landmarks. We began with the market, the tour included the War Remnants Museum (very moving and emotional experience), “The White House” where the first Vietnamese President resided, the Great Post Office, Book Street, a temple and much more along the way. It was a relief to have a driver and Tan (the guide). While Tan accompanied us at all the stops, the driver kept the car cool the entire duration, this was much needed and appreciated due to the heat and 96% humidity!! We had a great Vietnamese coffee with coconut milk and ice cream in an air-conditioned cafe for morning tea. After a few more stops, a lovely lunch was provided at an a/c’d restaurant of course, providing a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere to discuss the tour to-date. 8 hours we found was long enough particularly due to the weather conditions. We were never rushed to move on to the next stop, the pace was at our leisure. Although we had booked for 9 hours, Giang, without any hesitation refunded the additional hour we didn’t take. A huge thank you to Giang, Tan and the team. We would have no hesitation in recommending Maiko Tours to our friends based on today’s experience.

We booked this day tour a few days before arrival. Giang, the owner was very responsive and organised the day, including an early pickup for us. The tour was great, giving us a good overview of the city, something impossible to do without a guide and driver in one day. Our guide, Hine, was knowledgeable and friendly. We’d highly recommend the experience.

Absolutely excellent tour with our guide Tan. Super smooth pick-up from the airport and nice friendly driver. Our guide Tan, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We went to many interesting sights, and the war museum had the biggest impact. It’s confronting but a must to visit. An excellent Vietnamese lunch was also included.

Mr Gian Vu kindly arranged this layover tour on my request, communication and payment was seamless throughout. We had little time for our layover but big ambitions to soak in as much as we could of HCMC - Harry, our personal guide, was the perfect match and our driver Mr Long was a safe pair of hands as he navigated us from one place to another. Both my husband and I really admired Harry's energy and his wealth of knowledge was truly incredible. In just a few hours he gave us so much information but also created a desire for us to return again, not just to Vietnam but to your company to benefit from Harry's knowledge again - we had always planned on coming to spend a few weeks in Vietnam, and thanks to him we now know how we want to balance that time. Again, our sincere thanks to Harry and Mr Long. They were a good pair and we felt well looked after in their company and look forward to their services again on our next visit.

Harry as a guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and tweaked the experience to fit my schedule and interests. Will be recommending to friends, family and anyone else that has a short time in vietnam.

The team was super helpful, always available for queries, and made the entire trip completely stress-free. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for a smooth and memorable travel experience! Giang was super helpful not just with itinerary, but helped us with any and every question we had about Vietnam. A special shoutout to our tour guide, Tan , who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the trip even more enjoyable with great insights and local tips.

Very nice service. They know where tourists will not be ripped off and good places to eat. I went on a one day tour of Ho Chi Minh during my transit and was very apprehensive initially. But the guide was really good and accomodating. Highly recommend for tourists.

The tour fitted my expectations. A friendly and very knowledgeable guide, Mr Vinh, introduced me to various interesting sights as per the itinerary. Our driver looked after us in the hectic traffic. Organised somewhat last minute it worked out well with a pick-up and drop-off at the airport.
