What To Expect
Experience an exciting hands-on crabbing adventure right from the pier—no fishing license needed! During this 3.5-hour guided trip, you’ll learn how to catch Dungeness and Rock Crabs using a fishing rod and top-rated Durasnare crab snares. All equipment is provided, and no experience is necessary. Note: Dungeness Crabs are not allowed to be retained within the San Francisco Bay as it is within a protected estuary. However, we will occasionally catch them as a bycatch and must be released if caught. After the catch, we’ll cook your crab right on-site so you can enjoy the freshest seafood possible. It's the perfect mix of fun, learning, and experience—ideal for families, beginners, and experienced anglers alike.

5.00We had an amazing time crabbing with Lawrence. He is an excellent guide and made sure we learned the ins and outs of everything. We caught a lot of crabs and had a great meal afterwards and were lucky to catch some beautiful weather. I highly recommend this trip if you're into fishing or crabbing!

5.003 things-1st:Lawrence genuinely cares about the experience. He’s knowledgeable and just a really nice guy. 2nd: This is a really well done experience from start to finish; nothing I would change. 3rd: Our 14 yr old wanted to do this. I was along for the ride, but we all had fun! I would do another of his tours if back in town and would actually recommend it to others. One of the best guides we have had hands down.

5.00New to crabbing. Learned so much about all aspect of crab fish to casting techniques, bait, equipment and when best times to crab fish. Had an excellent experience and was catching crabs as I was learning. I would recommend this instructor and company to anyone wanting to go crabbing. Looking forward to taking his class on surf fishing for crabs and classes on other types of fish. As a new crab fisherman. I learned a lot and fishing going forward will be a lot more fun. I know I have the right techniques in place to catch more crabs. Thank you Lawerence. It was a great morning on the pier. You also have the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, Alcatraz Island and the SF Bay on top of the fishing.

5.00We took a crabbing class today and had an amazing experience. Lawrence was awesome!! He is very knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly passionate about what he does. He explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and made the class both educational and fun. We had such a great time and would absolutely recommend this class to anyone interested in crabbing.

5.00I had the most “Awesome”experience on my Birthday today Crabbing with Lawrence the guide and inventor of “DURASNARE”. He was very kind, patient and an expert. I felt comfortable and had such a “Blast”. He showed me how to prepare the bait on the line, cast, clean and cook the delicious crab.🦀 I enjoyed the delicious crab we steamed and we also boiled some with Zatarans🌶️ seasoning. I feel more confident crabbing as Lawrence taught me everything I needed to know. I also purchased a couple of crab snares since they are so much easier to catch crab. This is a fun activity I’m sure will enjoy. Thank you Lawrence.

5.00My friend and I had such a wonderful time today! Such positive, fun vibes, but the best part is, Lawrence, owner and guide, was completely prepared, super knowledgeable, helpful and fun to be around. I’d recommend this trip to anyone who loves being around crabs, because you will catch a ton. Learn to cook and eat them too with the beautiful background of SF and the Golden Gate.
