The activities in Legoland are very good. All 30 elementary students (ranging from 6 to 11 years old) enjoyed this field trip. They do not permit outside food and the prices for their cafe were ridiculous ($5 for just a hot dog)! Our students brought their lunches, but once we exited the venue, they would not let us re-enter. We will likely go back but will chose an earlier entrance time to make the most of the visit.

The Lego Mini City was amazing with great details and the 4D Lego movies were awesome as well as the build your own race cars and marine life.

This was overpriced and incredibly underwhelming. We tried to make it enjoyable, but it was just so boring. There were some neat aspects, like the lego replica of Detroit landmarks. However, not worth the money or effort of going. Our 6-year-old grandson had more fun playing in the food court in the middle of the mall.

My young nephew & I came on a weekday in the summer when they were offering the teacher discount. (FYI you can't come if you don't have a child with you.) He enjoyed the Kingdom Quest but not Merlin's Apprentice. He couldn't move the pedals well. The interactive Detroit lego city was cool. There were lots of opportunities to build with legos, small, medium, and large. We got to meet a lego guy at the clock tower and watched the 4D movie. I think his favorite part was playing in the play area. Overall, he enjoyed it but I'm glad I received a discount. Not worth the full price.

We bought out tickets through TripAdvisor and couldn’t get the code to download - they said there wasn’t anything they could do to fix the situation. I had to ask for a supervisor to get any help. It really is quite overpriced for the few things you get to do. Two very, very short rides, a short 4D movie, a few areas to build with legos and a climbing structure play area. Mini-land was what our 7 year old grandson enjoyed the most and he’s a huge fan of legos. We spent maybe 70 minutes there and that was enough. SeaLife was much more interesting. I’d skip LEGOLAND and just do SeaLife, but I wouldn’t drive more than an hour to visit either one - just too expensive for what it is!

Buyer beware. This place is incredibly small, the food options are almost non-existent (and not always available because it’s run by a “third party”), and DO NOT buy combination tickets. We purchased Legoland Discovery Center & Peppa Pig World of Play combo tickets. We were told Legoland was open until six, but apparently Peppa Pig World of Play decided to close early, at four. There was no notice or warning of that, either when purchasing the tickets or upon arrival at Legoland Discovery Center. Needless to say, I was not pleased with the wasted money, but I was really angered by it causing my two young daughters to cry. I also paid for the “digital photo package,” which was out of order. That was another $20 wasted. When I asked for help, I was again told that it was all a “third party” and was offered absolutely zero assistance. Customer service is not high on the list of priorities here. I would strongly recommend staying away from this place, as it’s not worth the money and I didn’t even get what I paid for. There are plenty of other things nearby that your kids will enjoy just as much, or more.

My 4-year-old had an absolute blast. I didn't realize before entering how much there was to do for her - there were even two rides which was surprising. The first shooter ride was really cool - the other is one of those spinning rides which little kids love (though not too exciting for older kids or adults). That said, the shooter ride is about all that actually entertained me as an adult...the rest of our several hour visit I sat on a bench playing on my phone. So my main complaint is that I paid the same rather high entry price as my kid did....despite there not really being anything for an adult to do here. My kiddo of course would love to come back, but for me I think Peppa Pig World down the hall is a better deal since I'm only paying $9 to accompany her.
