What To Expect

Snowshoeing is a fun way to explore deep snow. It's like hiking on a snow, where you get to make our own trails. No special skills needed—if you can walk confidently and have good balance, you can snowshoe! We’ll make our way to explore the peaceful forests near Kätkä mountain and a lake, where we can even walk across the frozen lake surface. Along the way, your Finnish guide will share interesting facts about the local nature, wildlife, and culture, making it both a scenic and informative experience. We’ll take breaks to enjoy the surroundings and capture some photos. The pace is easy-going, and the trip is designed for all fitness levels, so you can focus on taking in the beauty around you. By the end, you'll have had a refreshing adventure in the heart of Lapland's winter wonderland!

The activity was definitely a must-do for everyone who likes the snow and hiking. We’ve been Inside the forest, on the top of the lake and we still had a break in the middle of the forest for a hot juice. We also had the oportunity to see the sun for very nice points. Dominik and Hendry were also very gentle and kind with us on the walk. Definitely a experience to remember!

Very nice experience. Perfect weather conditions, powdery snow and nice views. Pick up went smoothly and the experience was fabulous. Uphill trails are a little challenging but absolutely doable. Downhill snowshoeing when you make your own trail was so much fun! Jukka shared some stories about Finland and Levi, and showed some animal footprints in the snow. He also tailors the experience according to the stamina of the group. We took breaks where needed and had some warm juice as well. Thanks Jukka for the photo. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful walk with Roosa. She was a very knowledgable and friendly guide, taking into consideration all the levels of participants and making sure she engaged with everyone. The views were beautiful and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. Roosa also surprised us with some hot juice halfway through the walk, a nice touch from the organisers. Would highly recommend.

We really loved this snowshoe trip with Rosa which was very kind and patient (we stopped a lot of times to take pictures!). She gave us lots of anecdotes, we even stopped upstairs where she offered us a hot juice, it was really nice! You can rush with your eyes closed 🤩
