What To Expect
Museo de Sitio y Santuario Arqueologico de Pachacamac
This site was one of the most important religious centers of the Inca period along Peru’s coast. It features an extraordinary complex of temples and structures built by various pre-Inca cultures dating back to around 200 A.D. Later, the Incas constructed majestic pyramids here in honor of the Sun. Visitors can appreciate the site’s remarkable architectural precision while exploring the customs, beliefs, and traditions that shaped the ancient civilizations of Peru. LUNCH: at midday there will be a break of 1 hour 30 minutes so you can have lunch. We will recommend you some good local restaurants.
Plaza San Martin
In the second part of the tour, we will visit this historic plaza, built in the early 1900s to commemorate the centennial of Peru’s independence. The surrounding buildings are magnificent examples of Neoclassical architecture, reflecting the elegance and grandeur of that era.

5.00We had such a great day exploring Lima with Sandy! This tour is packed with variety—you really get to see so many different sides of the city. We happened to go the day before Independence Day, so the streets were bustling with energy and very crowded, but Sandy handled everything like a pro. She made sure we stayed on track, comfortable, and still got the full experience without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. She even recommended a fantastic spot for lunch that we absolutely loved. Sandy was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly warm and friendly, which made the day even more enjoyable. Hats off to her for making our visit so smooth and memorable!

5.00Our guide Jonathan was thorough, patient with our questions (we asked a lot 🙂), and well informed about the history of Lima. Our tour group only consisted of me and my friend as it is a slow season. It was better this way in my opinion. You could feel Jonathan’s passion for history, and pride for his countryman throughout the tour.. Recommend 12/10! Jonathan, Wish you much success and good fortune as you continue in your career.
