  The evening was delightful and educational in the heart of ancient Lisbon. We learned appreciation of Portuguese culture and history while having fun! Really enjoyed the music! We highly recommend this experience for travelers to Lisbon!

  This is the place to understand and listen to fado. The explanations (some in French if not in English) follow the songs accompanied by the Portuguese guitar and the Spanish guitar. The welcome is warm.

  This is such an emotional experience! The learn the history of Fado music and poetry with it was awe inspiring. Learning about just how important Amália da Piedade Rodrigues is to Fado music and the respect she has is truly memorable. The raw emotion poured into the delivery of the music will impact you in such a way you would not expect. While I could not understand the Portuguese lyrics, the tones and emotions with the music was a universal communication that we all understood perfectly. The Portuguese guitar is a beautiful instrument and one that I personally would love to see be used in more mainstream, worldwide music. Our bartender afterwards was so much fun and a wizard mixologist! After the show, I explored more Fado music and I can tell you that here in the United States, plenty of my neighbors will be hearing Fado music coming from my backyard this summer. I highly recommend this show!

  This activity introduces the concept of Faro to the audience. The musicians are talented and tell the stories in their performance. Mario the owner allow us to change the date so we can enjoy the experience during our short trip.

  Awesome experience. Very intimate, but they envelope you Like family and share their love for the music and culture. We booked on a spur from another tour suggestion and it was worth it. We had an 11yr old and 7yr old and they were enraptured but the music. It was a lovely hour spent learning, experiencing and engaging with this cultural gem.
