  We had an amazing experience exploring Lisbon with our guide, Nemanja. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made the city come alive with interesting stories and local insights. During the tour, we visited several iconic spots including Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery, Praça do Comércio, and even some hidden gems off the beaten path. Nemanja made sure the pace was perfect, giving us plenty of time to enjoy each location and take photos. We did the Discover Portugal Tours - Follow the Croco “Lisbon Private Tour with Local Guide” and it felt like getting shown the city by a smart local friend, not herded around with a flag. The route hits the best viewpoints—Miradouro da Senhora do Monte, Miradouro da Graça (Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen), Miradouro das Portas do Sol and Miradouro de Santa Luzia—then flows through the classic neighborhoods (Alfama, Baixa, Rossio, Chiado) with key stops like Lisbon Cathedral (Sé de Lisboa), Praça do Comércio, Rua Augusta and Elevador de Santa Justa. We also loved the tastings (pastel de nata + ginjinha + coffee) and the fact they’ll take photos for you, plus finishing at Time Out Market Lisboa (Mercado da Ribeira) with solid local food recommendations.   We are very lucky to have Jelena, who took us to every part of Lisbon and told us a story that is as widely known as it is local.   A very good choice for exploring Lisbon. We were lucky to have Jelena with us — an outstanding guide and storyteller of the city. Believe it or not, in just one day you learn as much as you would in three or four days on your own. You also get great recommendations for restaurants and wine bars frequented by locals. Excellent food, great prices, and a completely different perspective on the city — seen through the eyes of a local.
